We’re in that strange time of year in Disney World where it’s both Halloween and Christmas at the same time.
Hollywood Studios
We’re still eating Halloween snacks, but we’re also shopping for holiday merchandise. We’re still seeing everyone’s costumes for Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, but holiday decorations are now arriving in the parks. Now, holiday decorations are up in Disney’s Hollywood Studios!Â
The Florida heat can be brutal sometimes, even in months that aren’t typically considered the usual time for warm weather. And, on those days, is there anything better than a dip in the wave pool or a trip down Summit Plummet?
Blizzard Beach
Yep, we’re talking about one of Disney World’s water parks — Blizzard Beach! The park has been closed for refurbishment since January 1st of this year, with only Typhoon Lagoon in operation. But now, Disney has finally shared when Blizzard Beach will be reopening!
Ahh, Disney at Christmastime. Even when you’re riding attractions you’ve been on dozens of times there’s something in the air that makes it special. Plus, with fun events like Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, there are plenty of opportunities for your family to have a wonderful time.

Holiday decor in Hollywood Studios – 2021
That’s right, once that clock strikes midnight on Halloween, holiday decor will start going up around the parks, marking the start of the holiday season in the Disney Parks. It might only be October, but you know Disney likes to start preparations for things early, so there’s already a lot of planning to be done for the holidays! Festival of the Holidays is returning to EPCOT in Disney World this year, and it’s bringing with it those Holiday Kitchens we love so much, festive decorations, the Cookie Stroll, and a bunch of entertainment.

One of those entertainment offerings is the Candlelight Processional, which is when the Christmas story is told by a celebrity narrator while am orchestra and choir accompany the re-telling. We already know the dates, who the celebrity narrators are going to be, and which dining packages are available for the event, and now, you can go ahead and book a dining package to save your spot!
