Hundreds of runners got on their marks, got set, and WENT running through Disney World in hopes of getting a cool medal, fun merchandise, and even some discounts on water park tickets and food! But how did that affect crowds in the parks? Let’s find out!

Now that we’re officially into the holiday season in Disney World, we’re starting to see a few menu changes.

Last month, we had hundreds of price increases, but this month is more about new seasonal offerings (hello, winter Starbucks coffees!), as well as new holiday snacks! We’re also gearing up for the EPCOT Festival of the Holidays, where we’ll get even MORE new food. But as for restaurant menus, let’s look at the changes we’re seeing this week.

Sure, we’re reminded every time we look at Cinderella Castle, and see all the gold character statues, and 50th merchandise. But we’ve already tried all the 50th anniversary snacks, right? Or have we? Well, a NEW 50th anniversary snack turned up and surprised us!

We saw the first holiday decorations arrive in Hollywood Studios, Animal Kingdom, and EPCOT before Halloween even happened, and then on November 1st, it was ON in Magic Kingdom. Shortly after, the Christmas tree arrived in Magic Kingdom…and now we’ve got our second big Christmas tree of the season!

The show is returning to Hollywood Studios after being gone since the 2020 shutdowns. We’ve been waiting it out, checking on construction, getting updates from Disney, and learning about the new version of the show. We had the opportunity to see the changes to the show at a media event the night before the show officially returned. But now, we’re back for the official GRAND OPENING. The show is reopening in Disney’s Hollywood Studios tonight, and we’re sure there will be a lot of people trying to check it out. We’ve already gotten a preview of the show (well most of it before it was RAINED OUT), and there’s a whole new sequence to watch. So, is the park crowded on the day of the show’s return?
