We just wrapped up celebrating all things Star Wars for May the Fourth, and we’ve got the food and merch updates to prove it. But, that’s not the only thing you might have missed this week, so let’s take a look at what’s new in Hollywood Studios!
Picture this — it’s 12:30PM and you’re wandering around a Disney World park, trying to find something to eat that’s 1. nearby 2. actually tasty and 3. not ridiculously expensive or time consuming. We’ve totally been there before! Luckily, we can help you out.

There are a bunch of places to eat in Disney World, but some are much better than others (and we’ve tried them ALL, so we would know!). We’ve got some tried and true dining spots that almost never let us down, so let’s talk about some restaurants that you should definitely check out for lunch while you’re in Disney World!

We were at the Disney Parks recently trying tons of the exclusive May the 4th snacks and checking out all of the new merchandise for Star Wars Day! We tried a delicious dark side dessert, a funnel cake with enough goodies to fill the whole galaxy, and spotted some new Star Wars merch. But now it’s time to talk about even MORE Star Wars collectibles that are now available at Disney’s Hollywood Studios!
It’s time to celebrate Star Wars Day in the Disney parks! There’s a ton of new food and fun experiences like new PhotoPass opportunities coming to Disney World in celebration of this galactic holiday, and we’ve been having a great time checking everything out (but of course, we’ve had the most fun trying the food!).

We’re taking in all the sights, sounds, smells, and special experiences happening throughout Disney’s Hollywood Studios for May the 4th. So far we’ve seen special PhotoPass ops, and don’t even get us started on how many of the exclusive treats we’ve already tried! Speaking of which, let’s check out another special Star Wars Day snack that’s sure to be out of this world.Â
MagicBands may not be required to navigate around Disney World anymore, but we’ve noticed that a lot of people still choose to wear them! It can be convenient to have everything you need to get into the parks or your room right there on your wrist, instead of having to pull out your phone or physical ticket.
Springtime MagicBand in Disney Springs!
If you’re someone who still doesn’t want to let go of that MagicBand lifestyle, then you’ll want to see these new MagicBands available to resort guests and annual passholders!
Ask any Disney World fan you know and they will probably have something to say about the introduction of Disney movie content into the parks, especially when it comes to EPCOT.
Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure
Although the Disney Parks did not originally rely solely on films and shows for attractions, now it seems like there are a lot more lands, rides, characters, and even restaurants based on Disney movies, also known as intellectual property (IP). Many things have returned to Disney World, but we’re still waiting on some stuff to come back!
Monsieur Paul Restaurant remains closed
Select restaurants remain closed, as do a few stores, and even the barber shop on Main Street, U.S.A. There are also a handful of things that Disney has announced are returning, but we’re still waiting for their opening dates to arrive, like Victoria & Alberts and Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue! Last year, Disney announced that Fantasmic! would be returning to Hollywood Studios in 2022, and we now have more info on the show!
