A very cool Disney Vacation Club Perk has returned to Disney World!
Moonlight Magic has been paused for a LONG time!
DVC hosts exclusive after hours events at the parks called Moonlight Magic. Once they’ve registered, DVC members can get into a Disney park for free for a few hours after it closes. This, of course, has tons of perks! We already saw the event at EPCOT, and now, it’s headed to a park where you can really use those extra hours!
The rides at Disney’s Hollywood Studios can be a challenge sometimes!
Tower of Terror
There are so many amazing rides that are super popular, and the lines can end up being pretty long. It doesn’t help when one of the more popular rides is closed. One Hollywood Studios ride had a rocky start to the new year with several closures in the first few weeks, and now, it’s down again.
It’s time for a NEW update on everything that’s NOT going to be available next week in Disney World!

Still, is there really such a thing as too many restaurant options? Here at Disney Food Blog, we certainly don’t think so. Well, we’re in luck because there are three NEW restaurants coming to Disney World THIS YEAR. Let’s take a look!
It’s been a rainy few days in Disney World, and Hollywood Studios is no exception.
Rain, rain, go away
But that didn’t stop us from heading into the park to see what’s new!
Ever think to yourself “gosh, I’d just love to spend a hunk of cash at a Disney World restaurant with food that’s just “good enough?” Yeah, okay, probably not. Sometimes you’ll eat at a restaurant in Disney World and be absolutely BLOWN away. Other times, you’ll eat at a spot and think it was horrible. And still, other times you may eat somewhere and think “ehh…that was good enough.” 🤷 But is good enough actually ENOUGH?!
Hollywood Studios
Recently, we made our way back to a restaurant in Disney’s Hollywood Studios which we’ve previously termed a Disney-fied Olive Garden (not necessarily in a bad way, but you get the idea). Pasta, flatbreads, chicken parm — this spot has all of your expected Italian basics. Sometimes, it’s wowed us. Other times, it’s left us wanting more. How does this spot hold up now and is “good enough” here truly good enough to merit a visit?
You can get really busy with rides, food, shopping, and entertainment when you’re in Disney World, but you shouldn’t miss out on meeting characters while you’re in the parks!
Hi, friends!
Character meet and greets have been back in a modified way for a while, and soon, they’ll be going back to how they were before the shutdowns in 2020. This means you’ll be able to hug Mickey again and get autographs from Pluto! You’ll also be able to stand next to characters for photos, so you’ll probably want to grab some good pics, and we’re here to help you out when it comes to planning!
Disney World is currently celebrating its 50th Anniversary, and if you’re hoping to take home something to remind you of the party, there’s A LOT of merchandise to choose from. In fact, we’ve been spotting new 50th Anniversary merchandise pretty much every time we turn around these days — and some of it is PRICEY!
