The opening of Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway is just around the corner! More details are quickly emerging, including some exciting news about the TWO storylines that this attraction will feature.

While Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway officially opens to guests on March 4 at Hollywood Studios, Cast Members were able to be among the first to ride the attraction!
When we hear these three words at Disney World, they sound like sweet music to our ears!

And those words are… “extending its HOURS!” How can we NOT contain our excitement when we hear we’ll be able to spend a little more time in one of our favorite Disney World parks!

There’s a lot of hype building for Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway that will be opening on March 4th, but for now, we’re turning our eyes to some other construction updates and new merch. Let’s get started!
Ah, Disney World — the Most Magical Place on Earth and, potentially, also the place with the most construction barriers on Earth! Okay, okay, maybe we’re exaggerating; but there is a LOT of construction in Disney World right now. Just think about all of the different refurbishments we’re seeing around the parks!

Well, we like to be on top of the closures and construction and upcoming stuff so that YOU guys know how to plan around all of it. And that means keeping an eye on the building permits and patents that Disney World files.
Sometimes we see permits for work that’s visible in the parks, like for the upcoming Regal Eagle Smokehouse in Epcot or for the maintenance on Splash Mountain in Magic Kingdom. However, a lot of the permits and patents we see are for work that isn’t visible to the public…yet! So, here are a few secret, backstage updates that you CAN’T see in Disney World!
Wocka wocka! The Muppets have been slowly taking over our newsfeed lately, from the anticipated opening of Regal Eagle hosted by Sam Eagle, to the latest renovation of Muppet*Vision 3D!

After spotting the newest Muppets Loungefly backpacks in Hollywood Studios today, we didn’t think the day could get any better! Boy, were we wrong because we just found a whole collection of new Muppets apparel! You may or may not see us dressed from head-to-toe in Muppets merchandise in the coming weeks, don’t judge!
Fans of Indiana Jones are likely in on the ways you can celebrate all things Indy in the Disney Parks.

In Disneyland, for instance, there’s the Indiana Jones Adventure. In Walt Disney World, you can check out the Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular and raise a glass at Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar. We’re just a few weeks away from the official opening of Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway at Disney’s Hollywood Studios! (HAVE YOU GRABBED YOUR FASTPASSES YET?!)

In anticipation of the opening of this new attraction, we’ve seen a TON of adorable video short posters being released — it almost feels like there’s a new poster to talk about every day! The latest one has our hearts soaring to the highest of peaks, and you’ll see why!
We were so excited when Muppet*Vision 3D reopened a few days ago and the Statue of Miss Piggy returned safely to her perch after stepping away for a little bit to “powder her nose!”
