Disney’s Frozen is turning 10 years old! How can that be?! Someone please tell us we’re not the only ones feeling seriously OLD.
I was 13 years old when I headed into the movie theater to see Frozen for the first time, and despite all the rage and angst that comes along with being a teenage girl in the 8th grade, I sobbed for 25 minutes over the unbreakable bond between two sisters.

Now, I still sob over the unbreakable bond between two sisters every time I watch Frozen (and Frozen 2!), and many other Disney fans are right there with me. Yes, it has been nearly 10 years since Frozen debuted in theaters, and since then, it has thawed the frozen hearts of teenage girls and grown adults alike — and has managed to remain an obsession among children around the globe for an entire decade. Disney has announced a THIRD Frozen film in the works, and now, they’re doing something special for the 10-year anniversary of the original film.

However, we aren’t as lucky as some of the other folks around the world. Over at Hong Kong Disneyland, things are really progressing as we grow nearer to the completion of World of Frozen — the park’s Frozen-themed land. World of Frozen will feature character meet and greets, an attraction similar to Frozen Ever After, and the first Frozen-themed roller coaster, Wandering Oaken’s Sliding Sleighs. Disney just shared some NEW details regarding the land, and we are SO excited!
One of our favorite things about the Disney Parks is the amount of thought and detail that goes into the park theming and decor.
Partners Statue
Throughout each of the Disney Parks, there are small tributes to Walt Disney himself — and, of course, the Mouse that started it all. Statues of Walt and Mickey can be found at a few of the Disney Parks, like the “Partners” Statue that can be found in Disney World’s Magic Kingdom. Now, Disney has shared a first look at an all-new statue that’s coming soon to a Disney Park.
All that shimmers isn’t gold, right? In this case, it’s platinum. Disney100 collectibles are popping up everywhere in the Disney parks and online, and we just discovered a few more we NEED to add to our collections.

Getting to see all of the Disney castles around the world in places like Disneyland Paris, Shanghai Disney Resort, and Hong Kong Disneyland might seem like a dream to most of us. Although we might not have a trip planned there yet, it doesn’t mean seeing their gorgeous castles is too far out of reach!
It’s a great time to be a Frozen fan!

Not only is a NEW Frozen movie on the way, but several international Disney parks are getting Frozen-themed lands! Hong Kong Disneyland Resort’s World of Frozen will is set to open later this year. We’ve been getting some sneak peeks at the land recently, and Disney just released ANOTHER look at the project.

World of Frozen in Hong Kong Disneyland will be home to the first-ever Frozen-themed coaster, Wandering Oaken’s Sliding Sleighs. The ride was “built” by Wandering Oaken himself and is powered with the help of Olaf and Sven. And, Disney Imagineering just shared a NEW look at the ride queue!
Let’s be honest here — Disney has put together some pretty spectacular theme park lands in the past few years!
