Yeah, we know, a lot of us just want to live in the Disney bubble on our vacation, but at the same time, there are some REALLY nice hotels in the area that might be a better value than a Disney World hotel. There are some great hotels in the Disney Springs area, plus there’s the incredibly luxurious Four Season Orlando. Well, a NEW billion-dollar resort will be opening near Disney World soon, and when you see it, you’ll want to book a stay there.
While we all can dream of using Cinderella Castle as a hotel, there are plenty of realistic ways to stay at Disney World.

Today, we want to talk about one that MAY be coming in the future. Let’s rewind to 2019 when Disney announced that they’d be bringing a new hotel to Disney World. It was to be called Reflections — A Disney Lakeside Lodge. Permits were filed and everything, but then a global pandemic happened, and Disney went silent on those plans. That was the last thing we heard about the project until recently.

For a while, Disneyland Resort has been updating the Paradise Pier Hotel to become the Pixar Place Hotel, and it’s going to become the ultimate place for Pixar fans to stay on vacation. No, it’s not the over-the-top Disney theming at some spots (which might not appeal to older adults) or the lack of Disney theming at other places (which might not appeal to kiddos). And it’s not even the current lack of room service at most of the hotels (though that is something to consider before booking). Nope, Disney World’s hotels have a different fatal flaw and it’s something you’ll need to know about before booking.
