We’ve seen so many changes in Disney World just over the past four years.

This is especially true with nighttime entertainment. In Magic Kingdom, Disney introduced the Disney Enchantment fireworks show to celebrate Disney World’s 50th Anniversary. So here’s the thing…fans still preferred the Happily Ever After fireworks show, which ended up making a return once the 50th anniversary celebration had ended. Could we see something similar happen in EPCOT?
While the Magic Kingdom fireworks get the big reputation, the fireworks at EPCOT do have a niche but loyal following of Disney fans.

Yep, EPCOT has hosted nightly fireworks shows since the park opened in 1982 — creating four decades’ worth of memories for many Disney World visitors. Many Disney fans even argue that they enjoy the fireworks in EPCOT more than the ones in Magic Kingdom, due to lower crowds, more vantage points from which to view the show, as well as the contemporary music that accompanies the fireworks. Disney World’s 50th Anniversary has brought a lot of new offerings.

Perhaps the most exciting of these offerings are the new firework shows. We’ve already seen Disney Enchantment in Magic Kingdom and Harmonious in EPCOT. Disney fans certainly have big feelings about these new shows, but we noticed something particularly interesting about Harmonious. It’s not really a firework show, is it?
There have been several big changes in EPCOT over the last few weeks that we’ve eagerly waited for! The month of September brought the long-awaited opening of Space 220, and we’ve been enjoying checking out the newly expanded France Pavilion with Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure and La Crêperie de Paris!

Tonight, however, all eyes are on World Showcase Lagoon as we finally get to see the brand-new nighttime spectacular, Harmonious!
Watching Disney+ is the perfect way to spend a relaxing day.

So far, we’ve seen a shirt, phone case, and more released to celebrate this special occasion. But, tomorrow, DVC Members can continue the celebrations by tuning in to a special, musical virtual event!
