51% of Disney Fans Say THIS Is the Most They Will Pay For Genie+

We’ve seen some VERY high prices for Genie+ in Disney World.

Genie+

Genie+ is the virtual assistant on the Disney World app. Once you have purchased it for the day, you can make Lightning Lane selections to be able to pass the long lines. It can be an incredibly useful tool on busy days in the parks or if you just simply don’t like standing in lines. Over the holidays, Genie+ reached close to $40 per day for both the Multiple Parks and Magic Kingdom options. This was a record-high price that we hadn’t seen before. So we took to Instagram to ask you, our readers, how much is the MOST you are willing to pay for Genie+.

NEWS: Genie+ Prices DROP Again Despite Big Crowds in Disney World

We are officially through the Christmas and New Year’s celebrations!

It’s officially 2024!

The busiest days of the year have passed. We saw park passes selling out, Genie+ selling out despite the record high prices, and some very high wait times! “Busy” is probably an understatement for the number of people we saw in the parks over the last couple of weeks. But now that we’re past the biggest celebrations of the year, we’re wondering what is happening with those very high Genie+ prices.

Something STRANGE Is Happening With Genie+ in Disney World

Genie+ has gone through a few different transformations since the skip-the-line service first rolled out in Disney World.

You can find Lightning Lanes at many attractions within the parks!

And, just when we thought we had the hang of things — Disney goes and changes it all over again. As of June 27th, Genie+ is now a per-park, per-day service, meaning that the price depends on which park you’re visiting and which date you visit. This “dynamic pricing” has ebbed and flowed since it was first introduced, but we’ve noticed something kind of peculiar lately.
