Jaleo
From the closing of Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser to the big employee move to Florida being canceled, Disney has experienced a busy week. But we’re still also visiting the parks every day and keeping an eye out for new food, as well as seeing if any restaurant menus have changed. So let’s get to those menu updates, shall we?
We’ve seen stores close in Disney Springs, old character meet-and-greet locations return to the parks, and new restaurants open — sometimes it feels like EVERYTHING is changing in Disney World.

For example, a LOT has changed at EPCOT as it continues to undergo a massive multi-year transformation. In fact, there’s construction all over the park! Even one classic ride in the Magic Kingdom has closed to be re-themed as a brand new ride. Disney World restaurants are changing, too, including one Disney Springs restaurant that just revealed a brand-new menu!
If you’re looking for a delicious meal on your Disney vacation, Disney Springs has tons of great options.
Pepe
We were recently invited to a media event at Pepe by José Andrés, a quick-service restaurant next door to the Chef’s signature restaurant, Jaleo — and we really enjoyed how fresh and tasty everything was! Sandwiches are the feature here, and boy do they make them well. Their #1 seller, the Pepito De Ternera, is a savory delight made with ribeye steak, cheese, and caramelized onions that really impressed us. Can’t make it to Disney Springs soon to try this dish?
