food IS a theme park
Hello, DFB friends! It’s a beautiful day to take a walk around EPCOT!
Here’s everything we discovered since our last walk around the park.
You know what makes a Disney World drink even better — when it’s sparkling! And we love sparkling beverages here at DFB.
So you can imagine how pumped we got when we discovered a NEW sparkling drink at EPCOT!
Anybody else automatically get hungry every time they hear “Food and Wine Festival” when they’re in Disney World?
As we keep making our way around the park, we’re thrilled to see returning booths and new experiences pop up in EPCOT! And, all you beer lovers out there are going to want to head to the World Showcase ASAP since there’s a re-opened spot to snag the sips you’re craving!
It looks like another one of our favorite Disney World restaurants is fixin’ to reopen SOON!
Despite remaining closed after EPCOT’s reopening last month, Teppan Edo began tinkering with its menu a few weeks ago. This gave us the impression the table service hibachi grill restaurant located in the Japan pavilion might be getting ready to reopen!
Something very strange is happening at EPCOT right now!
Some of our favorite items that weren’t on the menu when Taste of EPCOT International Food and Wine Festival first began on July 15th have strangely returned! For instance, back by popular demand, you can now get the Italian Margarita at Italy’s booth and now another fan-favorite item has just popped up in Japan!
If you’re looking for some yummy Japanese eats during your trip to EPCOT, you’ve only got a few places to choose from right now.
The 2020 Taste of EPCOT International Food and Wine Festival is currently underway which means you can swing by the Japan food booth for some Frothy Ramen or Tempura Donburi! You can also trek up the hill to dine at Katsura Grill, which is now serving a few new menu items including a Menchi Katsu Slider and Yuzu Miso Wings.
Let’s face it, food is basically its own attraction at Walt Disney World. And especially at EPCOT!
Whether you’re eating your way around the world at the 2020 Taste of EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival, or snacking your way through all of the delicious treats at Les Halles Boulangerie & Patisserie in the France pavilion, you’re sure to find something delicious!
Recently, we tried 3 items new to the reopening menu at a fantastic EPCOT spot and we can’t wait to share them with you!
The 2020 Taste of EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival is upon us! We’ve got an extra-long festival season in store this year to take in the sights, sounds, and TASTES of this new hybrid EPCOT festival!
No surprise here, but we’re most concerned with the TASTES! This year, the festival features 20 Festival Marketplaces, each with a menu full of specialty eats and drinks. We’ve eaten our way around the World (Showcase) and back again — and we have some thoughts.
Now that Prime Minister Shinzo Abe has lifted Japan’s nationwide state of emergency, several businesses including Japanese theme parks are making reopening preparations.
Tokyo Disneyland and DisneySea have been closed since February and while they haven’t announced an official reopening date yet, Tokyo Disney Resort’s shopping district (the equivalent to Disney World’s Disney Springs) has announced they’ll be reopening June 1st.
Today we have a bit more news about Tokyo theme parks we think you’ll want to hear!
As Disney parks around the world remain closed (except Shanghai Disneyland), international governments are considering the effect of health measures on their economies.
Until today, Tokyo Disneyland has been under a state of emergency with the rest of the city. Now, the Japanese government has lifted the global health crisis state of emergency in the remaining four areas that it applied to — Tokyo, Kanagawa, Chiba and Saitama, and Hokkaido.
