But did you know they also have a counter service location right next door? You can enjoy Pepe by José Andrés by dining in or taking it with you on the go. We were recently invited to a media event to try some of their new and favorite menu items, so come see what we thought!

Not too long ago, we shared the news about several Disney restaurant reopenings and buffet updates, and now we’ve got an exciting update about one Disney Springs spot!
Chef José Andrés is the owner and creator of Jaleo, which has a location inside Disney Springs!

And Jeff Bezos, the founder of Amazon, has just awarded Andrés for his humanitarian and unifying efforts with $100 million. This new award is called the “Courage and Civility Award.” [Read more…]

Although July 4th is a holiday to celebrate, it’s also a great time to give back to communities who have been affected by our current situation. And, a few Disney affiliates are teaming together to provide a HUGE donation to those in need!
In our efforts to keep you as informed as possible with which Disney Springs restaurants will be reopening on May 20th, we’re also keeping you in the loop with those that are not.

Today, a representative from Jaleo by José Andrés told us they are currently formulating a plan for their tentative reopening which is “still to be determined.”

We love hearing about people stepping up to help others during these difficult times. And celebrity chef, José Andrés, the owner of Jaleo and Pepe in Disney Springs, has done just that! He has temporarily converted several of his locations into community kitchens to assist those in need of affordable meals. But he’s going a step further to thank doctors and nurses for their hard work!
Disney has brought a smile to our face in a lot of ways over the last few weeks. Whether it’s reading us bedtime stories or streaming live on Facebook, Disney performers and celebrities have come into our homes digitally in ways that have brought some joy to these uncertain times. But these aren’t the only ways they’re making us smile.

Hello again from Jaleo in Disney Springs!! We have found ourselves back for more tapas, paella, and sangria! They’re just so good we couldn’t resist.
Jaleo is a Spanish restaurant known for its authentic cuisine and cooking style. It’s brought to us by James Beard Award-Winning Chef José Andrés, and this is the fifth Jaleo location in the country. It’s also the largest!
