UPDATE (5/22) 8:45 PM CT: According to the Orlando Sentinel, the governor’s office clarified that “the only major theme park to receive approval to reopen on Friday was Universal Studios in Orlando.” Legoland had already sent out a news release of the park’s reopening, but a reporter followed up to clarify that the decision had not yet been approved. We will keep you updated when the governor officially approves Legoland’s reopening.
While yesterday we informed you Legoland Florida had received initial approval to reopen June 1st, Governor Ron DeSantis has now given the Winter Haven City-based theme park the green light.
Legoland has officially announced it will be reopening its Central Florida location in just over a week.
