Hello from Magic Kingdom!
We’re checkin’ out Disney World’s flagship park to see what’s new in construction, merchandise, and more. Let’s get started!
For such a classic, old-school attraction in Disney World, the Jungle Cruise has been generating a lot of BUZZ lately!
As the ride braces for even more attention later this year, with the release of the Jungle Cruise movie, the Magic Kingdom staple has introduced ANOTHER new building to its riverside scenery!
The classic Jungle Cruise attraction in both Disney World and Disneyland is getting a re-theme that includes new characters, a new storyline, added depth to its backstory, new scenes, and more!
In Disney World, the ride is staying open while these changes are being made. So far, we’ve seen the Trader Sam animatronic removed (and a new scene announced), part of another scene taken out, and some more changes. Today we rode the ride and saw that ANOTHER thing has gone missing!
ICYMI, Disney is redoing Jungle Cruise at Walt Disney World and Disneyland, and giving this iconic, pun-filled boat ride a BRAND NEW storyline with new characters and scenes to replace some culturally insensitive depictions.
There’s an interesting part of this reimagining, however. Jungle Cruise at Magic Kingdom is going to STAY OPEN, so we’ve gotten some insight on how this ride is being altered! So far, we’ve seen some BIG changes (goodbye, Trader Sam!) and some more subtle changes.
We’re keeping a close eye on all the changes over at the Jungle Cruise!
ICYMI, the Jungle Cruise in Disney World and Disneyland are both undergoing a BIG reimagining this year. Disney’s adding a new storyline and characters — but what’s super interesting is the Disney World ride is not closing during the refurbishment. So of course, we’ve been riding it plenty to keep you up to date on everything that’s changing! We already noticed that the classic Trader Sam animatronic was removed from the ride…and now we’ve got some more news for ya.
