With almost a whole year until the release of the live action Jungle Cruise movie, we’ve got to get our ground-breaking, cutting edge, cheesy, hilarious, jokes where we can. We LOVE Jungle Cruise, it is definitely one of our favorite attractions and those old jokes never really get old!

One of the main ideas behind Disney World is that everything is a “show.” That’s why employees in Disney World are called “Cast Members” and why their uniforms are called “costumes.”

Every single costume you see Cast Members wear has been well thought out as to how it can help tell the story of each particular ride, restaurant, shop, or land. While shopping around Walt Disney World, Disneyland, and online, we’ve spotted Jungle Cruise T-shirts, Jungle Cruise bags, Jungle Cruise Funko Pops, and even a Jungle Cruise cookie jar…just to name a few items.
Jungle Cruise starring Dwayne Johnson was supposed to come out July 24th, 2020, before it was postponed.

Even though the movie isn’t coming out just yet, the Jungle Cruise merch has been pouring in! So far we’ve seen a gorgeous skipper dress, cookie jar, graphic tees, and a new piece of drinkware that lets you actually see the backside of water!

Here at DFB, we sure are fond of our Disney Wishables. We love to see collections inspired by some of our favorite characters like these Woody Wishables. But we also think it’s SUPER fun when these adorable keepsakes honor Disney attractions, like the Monsters, Inc. Mike and Sulley to the Rescue Wishables or these Country Bear Jamboree Wishables. We’ve seen a lot of changes to Disney movie release dates this year!
AMC Theatre in Disney Springs
Disney has postponed a number of release dates and film and television productions due to the global health crisis. The live-action remake of Mulan was initially scheduled to release in March and is now postponed with an undetermined release date. The future Star Wars and Avatar films have all been pushed back one year too.
Do to all of the changes, we did some digging and compiled a list of all the Disney movies coming out in 2020 and 2021 with the current release dates. This list also includes companies owned by Disney like Searchlight Pictures and 20th Century Studios. [Read more…]
