We’re about a year away from the grand opening of Universal Orlando’s third park, Epic Universe.

We’ve learned just about everything about the new park’s lands, including details about How to Train Your Dragon — Isle of Berk, Super Nintendo World, Dark Universe, and The Wizarding World of Harry Potter — Ministry of Magic. We also have a lot of details about the first land visitors will see when they step into the new park, Celestial Park. However, we now have more details about a nighttime show coming to Celestial Park — and it sounds amazing.

First, we celebrated Disney World’s 50th anniversary for 18 months. Now, we’re celebrating the Walt Disney Company’s 100th anniversary in Disney World.

Although Disney World is a little late to the party (the 100th celebration kicked off in Disneyland earlier this year), we’ve finally started seeing some 100th anniversary decor in Disney World. EPCOT will serve as the “host” for Disney World’s 100th celebration. Now, we know that EPCOT’s Spaceship Earth will soon get its own 100th anniversary makeover.

Spaceship Earth at EPCOT might just be one of Disney World’s most iconic sights.

Ahead of Disney World’s 50th Anniversary Celebration, the icon-that’s-also-an-attraction got an upgraded lighting scheme that allows Imagineers to do a lot of creative nighttime light effects. We’ve seen Spaceship Earth with its EARidescent shine on, but we’ve also seen it pay homage to The Muppets and light up in beautiful holiday colors. Now, Spaceship Earth is about to get a patriotic look!

We’ve been watching the construction of the upcoming Magic Kingdom ride, TRON Lightcycle Run, for some time now!

Located in Magic Kingdom’s Tomorrowland, this ride will be similar to the TRON ride in Shanghai Disneyland, and lighting will be a huge part of the ride experience. The canopy of the coaster will feature shifting light panels that change the ride experience from day to night, and today we have an update!
