Well, we could have called this one. In case you haven’t heard, Disney just made BIG changes to its paid skip-the-line service, now called Lightning Lane Multi Pass and Lightning Lane Single Pass. We have a TON of super in-depth information about all the changes, and we’re even reporting LIVE on all the new features. It’s a whirlwind, but we’re working HARD to bring you all the information you need to know before your next vacation.

HUGE CHANGES Hit Disney World Today – Come With Us To Test Them Out!

OK, Disney fans. It’s time to dig deep into the depths of your memory. We’re going back in time to the days of FastPass+, Disney’s (old) skip-the-line service. Under the FastPass+ system, you could book ride reservations BEFORE your trip, giving you access to shorter lines throughout the day. Why are we bringing this up right now? Well, Disney just implemented some HUGE changes to its current (paid) skip-the-line service, and some of the new features sound pretty familiar.

The new skip-the-line system is essentially a rebrand of Genie+ and Individual Lightning Lanes, now called Lightning Lane Multi Pass and Lightning Lane Single Pass, respectively. Genie+ is officially GONE in Disney World, and Lightning Lane Multi Pass and Lightning Lane Single Pass have taken its place. This new system is quite similar to FastPass+, with a few key differences. We just experienced the new system ourselves, and it’s time to break it ALL down.

One of Disney World’s BIGGEST Hotel Perks Starts TODAY!

Staying at a Disney World hotel provides guests with exciting perks that other guests don’t get access to.

We’ll admit that unfortunately a lot of these have gone away over the past few years, but all hotel guests still have access to Early Entry into any Disney World theme park 30 minutes before park open each day, Deluxe hotel guests also have Extended Evening Hours in select parks on certain days, and starting in 2025, all hotel guests can enter whichever Disney World water park is open at that time for free on the day of their arrival, just to name a few. However, starting today, a HUGE new hotel perk begins, and anyone staying at a hotel soon NEEDS to know about it!

New Lightning Lane changes are coming

Genie+ as we know it is going away forever, to be replaced by a new service called Lightning Lane Multi Pass and Lightning Lane Single Pass. In Disney World, even more changes are coming to the service that allows you to skip the standby lines for rides. Regardless of which Disney resort you’re visiting, though, you need to do one very important thing before July 24th.
