We’ve seen our fair share of ups and downs with Genie+ in Disney World, but this week was a doozy. From selling out day after day to reaching an even higher record price, we’re telling you what you need to know about using Genie+ at Disney World.
It’s a BIG day in Magic Kingdom today — TRON Lightcycle / Run has officially opened!

The highly anticipated coaster held some Annual Passholder and DVC Member previews, and then it had a soft opening for a couple of weeks, but now it’s officially open and ready to welcome guests. With the new ride opening in Magic Kingdom, however, it looks like a major price increase has hit Genie+ — the paid way you can skip the lines at some of the most popular Disney rides.

Not only are schools on break, but there are a lot of exciting things happening in Disney World right now which is why park passes have pretty limited availability this week. The EPCOT Flower and Garden Festival is in full swing, TRON Lightcycle / Run is officially opening with a new pop-up shop and interactive experience, and so much more. Even though TRON Lightcycle / Run wasn’t officially supposed to open until April 4th, Disney recently announced there would be a soft opening from now until April 2nd. You know what that means — we’re live in Magic Kingdom to bring you all the details!

While the ride doesn’t officially open until April 4th, Disney announced that the ride would participate in a soft opening from March 20th to April 2nd. And now we know just how much it’ll cost you to ride it!
Spring Break crowds have started turning up at both the Orlando International Airport AND Disney World.
Things are BUSY in Disney World right now
That means we’re seeing a lot of long standby wait times for rides. That also means we’ve recently seen Genie+, which allows guests to bypass those long lines, has been priced at its absolute highest for several days in a row. HOWEVER, today, something has changed.
