There’s nothing like a bucket of popcorn, a large drink, sitting back, and relaxing to a new movie. Disney has announced lots of upcoming films debuting this year and the following several years. And now you can officially book tickets for one new live-action film!

We’ve seen movies like The Lion King, Aladdin, Beauty and the Beast, Mulan, Dumbo, and more all receive the live-action treatment. And, Disney doesn’t seem to be slowing down any time soon! More live-action films are coming including The Little Mermaid, Robin Hood, and Hercules. And now, There’s a new live-action adaptation of a Disney animated classic in the works.

It’s premiering on May 28th, 2021 in theaters (and on Disney+ for an additional fee!). That’s getting close, guys! We’ve been getting excited with the first full trailer and a little sneak peek of the film. And now, we’ve got a second trailer to tell us even more about Cruella’s backstory.

We’ve already seen live-action versions of other classic Disney movies like Aladdin, Mulan, and Beauty and the Beast — and remakes are on the way for films such as Robin Hood! But we’re especially excited to travel under the sea and become part of Ariel’s world (Too many puns? We’ll stop.) in the new The Little Mermaid.

The movie is set to release in theaters on May 28th, 2021 — we’re getting close! We’ve seen trailers for upcoming Disney films like Raya and the Last Dragon and The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. Now, it’s Cruella’s turn.
We would never have thought so many Disney attractions would get their own movies, but so far we’ve seen the success of a full series of movies based on Pirates of the Caribbean, as well as a lesser successful film based on the Haunted Mansion (although that film is reportedly getting a reboot!).
Space Mountain
There’s also a Jungle Cruise movie on the way (in case you’ve forgotten). But now another Disney attraction reportedly has a film in the works: Space Mountain!
