While earlier we shared a “first look” at Disney California Adventure’s 2020 Lunar New Year celebration with you…
…we’re back with even more delicious details! That’s ’cause Disney has just released this year’s Lunar New Year food booth menus!
Welcome back, DFB friends! We’re here with another What’s New at Disney Springs!
We’ve got lots of food and merchandise updates to give you, so let’s dive right on in!
While you can celebrate the Lunar New Year at Disney California Adventure starting on January 17th, we spotted a way you can celebrate the “Year of the Mouse” at Disney World today! (It’s actually the Year of the “Rat”, but we’re not ones to split hairs!)
Check out the new Lunar New Year Mickey and Minnie Pandora Charms we spotted over at Disney Springs today!
Goodbye “Year of the Pig” and hello 2020, the “Year of the Mouse”! (Alright, so maybe it’s actually the “Year of the Rat”, but close enough, right?)
We’re super-stoked about the return of the limited-time Lunar New Year event, which is a multicultural celebration at Disney California Adventure that starts January 17th and runs through February 9th, 2020. And we’re even MORE excited to attend this year’s fest now that Disney’s just shared a sneak-peek with us!
Now that we’ve moved into 2020, we have our sights set on another new year — the Lunar New Year! California Adventure in Disneyland throws quite the annual celebration, but today we’re sharing a stylish collaboration that’s making us seriously consider saving our pennies!!
2020 is the year of the mouse (or rat), and luxury brand Gucci is continuing their Disney Lunar New Year collaboration with all things Mickey Mouse!
WE DO! With the new year quickly approaching, we keep hearing the date “January 17th” EVERYWHERE.
This is because January 17th is the day that Rise of the Resistance comes to Disneyland and Festival of the Arts kicks off in Disney World! OH…PLUS LOTS MORE!
Today has been a HUGE Disney date day!
Not only did Disney announce that dates for the 2020 Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival, but they have also released the dates for the 2020 Lunar New Year celebrations!
Happy Birthday, Disney California Adventure!
Disneyland Resort’s second park opened on February 8, 2001, so DCA is 18 years young today!
After a rocky start, I think DCA has really come into its own. With the addition of Pixar Pier, Guardians of the Galaxy Mission Breakout, and now Marvel Land coming to the park, there’s so much to enjoy and to anticipate!
But today we wanted to celebrate this enterprising little park by sharing some of our favorite treats — old and new — to get at the snack locations and shops around DCA! Let us know which is YOUR favorite!
It’s not a visit to Disneyland Resort without stopping for a corn dog, and one of our favorite spots is Corn Dog Castle! Here you can get a traditional hand-dipped corn dog, but you can also order the Hot Link Corn Dog and the Cheese Stick Corn Dog. See our review here! The Hot Link is a spicy dog coated in classic corn batter. It’s delicious and packs a bit of a punch!
The Cheese Stick Corn Dog is exactly what you think: a stick of cheddar cheese that has been battered and deep fried. [Read more…]
We’re at Disney California Adventure ringing in the Lunar New Year!
From now through February 17, 2019 guests are invited to welcome the Year of the Pig with special entertainment, Disney characters in their Lunar New Year costumes, Asian cuisine, and more. [Read more…]
It’s nearly time to celebrate the Lunar New Year at Disney California Adventure Park! The celebration of the Lunar New Year begins on January 25, 2019, and the food booths are out with menus and prices!
This year’s booths are a bit different from past years when each was dedicated to a particular country’s cuisine. Instead, this year’s booths (called Lunar New Year Marketplaces) are inspired by the spirit of the festival. Red Dragon Spice Traders will offer Firecracker Three Cup Chicken, Steamed Short Rib Shumai, and a Purple Yam Macaron.
