When you were little, did you ever go to the fair? And your folks would just hand over a $20 bill and tell you to have at it?

Today, that’s what we were given to work with at Magic Kingdom at Disney World. Honestly, Magic Kingdom does fit the vibe of a county fair if you really think about it. You’ve got the endless snacks, spinning rides, and even Main Street, US.A., which feels just like a small town (which is totally on purpose, because it was modeled after Walt Disney’s hometown of Marceline, Missouri!). Anyway, we were given $20 to come up with a DREAM lineup of food in Magic Kingdom.

Many guests think that you can only find average theme park food at Disney World, but that’s simply not true. Yes, there are plenty of places to grab a quick, nothing-special meal, and it’ll get the job done, but there is some amazing food hiding around Disney World. Okay, we know Disney World’s 50th anniversary has come and gone (although the decorations have been taking their own sweet time coming down). But, one 50th anniversary snack was a DFB favorite, and we were thrilled to still be able to order it after all the festivities had ended. Unfortunately, that won’t last forever — we recently got word that this beloved treat would be leaving the menu SOON.

When it comes to Disney World snacks, we’re ALWAYS looking for ways to upgrade some of our favorites, which is why we once put a Chocolate Bundt Cake on top of a Chocolate Milkshake (for science!) and made an Ice Cream Sandwich out of a Mickey Cinnamon Roll (hey, don’t knock it until you try it). We LOVE a good snack hack and we’ve got a brand new one for you to try!

NAME ANNOUNCED for the NEW Snack Spot Coming to Magic Kingdom

A NEW snack spot is opening in Magic Kingdom soon, and now we have more information about it!

What’s going on here?

We spotted this new stand near TRON Lightcycle / Run a while ago, and now Disney has officially confirmed that it will open soon as a place to grab drinks, snacks, and treats. They also announced the name of the stand and what kinds of eats will be available when it opens! [Read more…]
