When Walt first created Mickey for the “Steamboat Willie” short, he probably didn’t know how beloved Mickey would be almost 100 years later. Now, the day after Walt’s birthday, we’ve spotted a pretty neat piece of merch commemorating Walt and Mickey!

We’re only a few weeks away from getting to see the latest Pixar film!
Soul Photo-Op
Soul debuts on Disney+ on December 25th and we’re pretty excited to see how Pixar is going to being this music-based story to life! In the meantime, we’ve had a blast spotting Soul merch online and today it popped up in the Disney parks!
There are lots of new attractions and areas being worked on right now all throughout the Disney theme parks, including Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure, Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, and TRON Lightcycle Run.
Tron Lightcycle Vehicle Photo Op
In September, Imagineers reached a major milestone in the TRON construction with the installation of the first piece of the incredibly canopy that will surround part of the attraction’s outside route. As we passed by the attraction today, we could see that even more of this stunning canopy is going up and we couldn’t be more excited!!
As the song says, “It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year!” And that’s certainly true in Walt Disney World! Here at the DFB, we’ve been spending the season making a list — and checking it twice! — of ALL of the specialty snacks and sips for the 2020 Holiday Season in Walt Disney World!
