Magic Kingdom New Fantasyland: Storybook Circus Eats

Storybook Circus as soft-opened in Disney World, and we were there to check out if there were any new eats to “write home about!”

Welcome to Storybook Circus!

We got a peek at the ONLY food being sold in this newest area of the Magic Kingdom’s Fantasyland — popcorn, ice cream novelties, and cotton candy! These are being sold from an adorable circus cart very close to the entrance of the new area.

It’s been a fun Disney Food news week with sneak peeks of new menu items and upcoming restaurants. Take a closer look at the Be Our Guest Restaurant’s progress in the Magic Kingdom. I’m so ready to be “magically transported” there!

In a great video by Disney Parks Blog, we get to see a little bit of the Imagineering that’s going into the most anticipated restaurant in the Disney World Fantasyland expansion — Be Our Guest Restaurant!

According to Disney Parks Blog, “Imagineers recently put the finishing touches on one of its major elements: a massive mural that will serve as the restaurant’s backdrop. Here, Ted shows how WDI combined digital technology with traditional artistry to create a sweeping landscape that gives guests the feeling that they really are walking into a part of the film.”

Have you ever been headed to the Magic Kingdom and found yourself saying, “I wish there was a protein-filled, portable, delicious breakfast item that I could get at the Magic Kingdom…except I don’t want to wait in a line for it”…? Hmm? I know…who hasn’t?!

The Sleepy Hollow Breakfast Waffle is the newest specialty waffle introduced by this tiny wonderland of a kiosk. (You’ll remember the other three Disney waffle sandwiches here!)

As you can see from the description, it includes prosciutto, cheese, egg, and “gourmet” tomato on a warm waffle!

Disney World To Serve Up New Kids’ Menu Items Starting February 15th

We’ve written before about dining with your adventurous child in Disney World — there’s lot of options out there for kids who’d rather have sushi than spaghetti!
