PLUS members can use their points at certain non-Disney hotels and resorts. Besides using their points for vacations, Disney Vacation Club Members also have special events and lounges around Disney World!

Earlier this year Disney announced that complimentary MagicBands will be discontinued for resort guests in favor of expanded mobile capabilities. Now, it seems another FREE offering is going to see some change too!
