Here at the DFB we love to be surprised (in a good way) by the eats we pick up at the Disney Parks. And when that surprise comes in the form of dessert, it’s even better! Such was the case with the Brownie Temptation at Main Street Bakery in Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom.
Main Street Bakery is the park’s Starbucks location, and it can be found on Main Street, U.S.A. In addition to Starbucks beverages and Starbucks-branded snacks, guests can also find more unique items.
The Brownie Temptation is being advertised on a temporary sign, and the picture doesn’t elicit a ton of enthusiasm. It looks like a pretty standard brownie with (admittedly tasty) sauces.
The reality is a nice, gooey bowl of sweetness, so an improvement over the photo. 😉 (An over-abundance of sauces is almost never a bad thing!)
The mound of whipped cream and drizzle of caramel are prominent.
The warm peanut butter and chocolate sauces spill over the sides and pool in the bowl, which is a good thing because the brownie is actually larger than I expected it to be. The choice of plating with the bowl contains all of those sauces.
The brownie itself is dense and moist, providing a lot of bang for the buck in terms of richness and chocolate flavor.
Overall, this one really surprised me! Why? Ha ha — I got a message on instagram asking “Why would you think a brownie with yummy sauces would be bad?” But the truth is, a LOT of Disney brownies are super dry and can’t be saved by the sauces in question.
So, the Brownie Temptation was much more tempting in person than in its signage, and it really delivered! Due to the richness of everything combined, it’s definitely share-able, but if you decide to attempt it on your own, might I recommend finding a cozy spot in the shadow of Cinderella Castle where you can linger over the classic combo of peanut butter and chocolate?
Yeah, I thought so. 😉

Hello… and BOO!! Or perhaps I should I say Trick or Treat?! Because we’re about to take a look at some seriously spooky snacks coming to Walt Disney World for Halloween!
Like last year, some of these treats will be available all day for Magic Kingdom guests, while some will be exclusive to Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party… at first! Stay tuned throughout the post, because though some snacks will make their debut at the Party, a few will be available to all Magic Kingdom visitors later in the season!
And if this all seems a little too soon… it’s not. Because Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party kicks off on August 17th… tomorrow night!!
Even if you aren’t attending Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, all guests in Magic Kingdom are able to enjoy the park’s festive decorations, and several snacks, to boot! You’ll see some familiar treats among the offerings. [Read more…]

You may recall the absolutely awesome Mermaid Cupcake that arrived at Magic Kingdom’s Main Street Bakery just a couple weeks ago. If not, you really should check it out here. Because it will give you some reference for our comparison to ANOTHER brand new Mermaid Cupcake that you can currently find on Disney World’s BoardWalk at the BoardWalk Bakery…
Is this thing gorgeous or what?!? It’s even more sparkly than the Main Street Bakery Mermaid Cupcake, thanks to the addition of iridescent colors on the white chocolate mermaid tail and surrounding chocolate shells. [Read more…]
Every June, Walt Disney World gets even more colorful with rainbow gear and eats that celebrate peace, love, and Mickey Mouse during the unofficial “gay days” in Orlando. And this year is no exception! Here we’ve got some fun drinks, eats, and merchandise to color your days at Disney World!
Remember the Belle’s Gown Cupcake that arrived at Epcot’s Sunshine Seasons last month? Well, new today in Magic Kingdom, The Little Mermaid — Ariel! — has received a cupcake tribute of her very own at Magic Kingdom’s Main Street Bakery!
Instead of the base (which we’ll get to shortly), we just have to start with those toppings!

Disney World Starbucks locations will be operating on limited hours today — May 29, 2018 — to take part in mandatory company-wide training by Starbucks.
The Disney World in-park locations — Magic Kingdom’s Main Street Bakery, Epcot’s Fountain View, Animal Kingdom’s Creature Comforts, and Trolley Car Cafe in Hollywood Studios — will all be closed from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm EST, as reflected on the screenshot above. [Read more…]
Okay, so Magic Kingdom already has another new Starbucks You Are Here Mug at Main Street Bakery. And even though you may be thinking, “Wait. Wasn’t there a Fantasyland-themed mug that came out, like, just last October?” Well, you’d be correct. But just wait until you see the new one!
YES!! It’s TOMORROWLAND! All day, every day!! From the Carousel of Progress icon… [Read more…]
It’s the weekend! And we’re celebrating it with another DFB Video today where we’re “walking right down the middle of Main Street, U.S.A.” to take a FOOD TOUR!
There’s nothing quite like those first steps down Main Street, U.S.A. in the Magic Kingdom during your Disney World vacation with Cinderella Castle directly in view. Among all the shops, sounds, sights and even smells — because who doesn’t love the fragrance wafting from the Main Street Popcorn Cart? — are plenty of terrific spots to grab a snack or meal throughout your Magic Kingdom day. From hot dogs to ice cream to Starbucks coffee and (so much!) beyond, there is plenty on Main Street to keep you going! And we’re showing all of it to you by taking you on a Main Street Food Tour in our latest DFB YouTube Video! [Read more…]
