Often, those wishes are things like trips to Disney World and other Disney parks, but did you know there is a way that you can contribute on a smaller scale? Disney and Make-A-Wish are partnering with Amazon to bring joy to these children, and you can help!

The upcoming Disney animated film Wish (2023) has inspired a special merchandise collection, which will donate a portion of proceeds to Make-A-Wish. The collection in itself is serving a great cause but Disney isn’t stopping there. As it turns out, Disney is expanding on the Wish collection with a BRAND-NEW SWEEPSTAKES!
The Disney 100 Celebration has been in full swing for quite a while now and we’ve had the chance to see some epic entertainment, eat some tempting treats, and of course — shop for iconic merchandise.

As part of the festivities, you can experience Disney’s Create 100, “a global celebration of creativity marking 100 years of Disney storytelling,” which will be the most exclusive 100th Anniversary merch drop of them all — and will include an outfit worn by Beyonce herself. Disney’s newest cruise ship, the Disney Wish, will be making its maiden voyage in July!

We’ve been keeping up with all the offerings that will be on the ship, and all the merchandise you can purchase while on board. But did you know that there’s a way you can enter to win a trip on the Wish’s maiden voyage AND help a good cause at the same time? Give Kids The World has just announced that you could win a 5-night Bahamian cruise for your whole family, while also helping make wishes come true for critically ill kids!
Have you ever looked down at the coins scattered in the water on “it’s a small world” or Pirates of the Caribbean, or maybe even at Cinderella’s Wishing Well, and thought about how there’s likely a small fortune living just outside of reach in the parks? Well, what you may not know is that they don’t go to waste!

Periodically, Disney collects the coins out of the many places guests toss them and totals it all up to then make a donation to a charity! In the past, Disney has given to charities like Give Kids The World Village, which is a non-profit resort that works with The Make-A-Wish Foundation to provide cost-free Disney World vacations for children battling critical illnesses, along with their families. In November of 2020, Disney was able to donate $20,000 (!!) in coins from its wishing wells and fountains and in 2022 that number is even BIGGER!
The Walt Disney Company isn’t the only company raising big bucks for the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

Another company has raised quite a bit for the foundation, too. That company is the Sunshine Flyer, which recently got into the business of shuttling Disney World guests to and from the Orlando International Airport after Disney suspended its Magical Express service.
It’s basically stating the obvious at this point to say that Disney World can get very expensive.
The price might be pretty steep!
Between the park tickets, hotels, restaurants, and gift shops, you might be dropping more cash than you’d like to during your vacation. But you don’t always have to feel guilty about spending the money, especially since Disney actually has a lot of partnerships and programs that give some of the money you spend to charities and other good causes!
