There are some celebrities that aren’t just Disney Legends, but also legends in the minds of anyone who has ever come across their work.

In fact, some celebrities spark so much joy that you can’t help but smile when you think about them because they’ve made that much of a significant impact on you. Well, for us, one of those celebrities is the ICONIC Dick Van Dyke, who just happens to be celebrating a HUGE milestone today: the Disney Legend just turned 99 years old.
There are lots of hotels to choose from in Disney World — more than 20, in fact! The hotels range from Value resorts like Disney’s Pop Century Resort to Deluxe resorts like Disney’s Riviera Resort. Some of the biggest and fanciest hotel rooms on property are the Disney Vacation Club villas and studios, which are located at several different Deluxe resorts.
Disney’s Grand Floridian
Disney Vacation Club members have access to these rooms, but the general public can also book the villas and studios — they just usually cost more than the average Disney hotel room. As if the Deluxe Disney World hotels aren’t fancy enough, 200 NEW rooms have been added to one of the most luxurious resorts in Disney World.

Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort just got new Resort Studios, which are DVC rooms located in the Big Pine Key building of the hotel. Construction on these studios began on March 1st, and the rooms officially opened on June 20th! Not only did the beloved Casey’s Corner reopen in Magic Kingdom yesterday with some special surprises, but Disney announced reopening dates for Citricos, Trail’s End Restaurant, Dino Diner, and Plaza Ice Cream Parlor. If you’re looking to dine at Citricos at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, it’s time to book your reservations!
Lots of things have been changing at Disney World lately. Restaurants have reopened, hotels are undergoing refurbishment, restaurants are being reimagined, and more. But, some spots are still closed.
Grand Floridian
One restaurant that hasn’t reopened (yet) is Citricos at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. We shared last year that the restaurant would be undergoing a refurbishment and now we’ve got a BIG update on just how the restaurant has been reimagined and when it’ll be open again!
