WOW. What a week it has been!
We knew that this week was going to be pretty big with the start of A Touch of Disney at Disney California Adventure Park (giving guests the first time to truly roam the park in over a YEAR), but so much other news was also announced this week. We’ve got updates on Disneyland, Black Widow, an EPCOT restaurant, Disney Cruise Line, and SO MUCH MORE!
When Disney World reopened last summer, much had changed about the parks.
The parks introduced a new mask requirement for guests over 2 years of age (a policy that continues to evolve), temperature checks, social distancing, and limited capacity. Also, park pass reservations were required for entering the theme parks.
Face masks have been required in Disneyland’s Downtown Disney District since it reopened in 2020Â after the historic park closures.
Over time, some of those policies have been updated. Now, as Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park reopened at the end of April 2021, we’re taking a look at Disneyland’s current face mask policies so you can be best prepared for your visit. [PLEASE NOTE: This post has been continually updated with the current face mask policies since it was originally published.]
Since its initial reopening, Disney World has added signs all over property reminding guests about the various face mask policies.
In these policies, guests must keep their face masks on at all time, which includes during photos anywhere in the parks. Today, we found a new addition that reminds guests to keep their masks on while taking pics.
Last year, the global health pandemic changed our lives — including our lives at Disney World.
After Disney World reopened, the parks were drastically different with new health and safety guidelines, including the requirement of facial coverings for all guests over the age of 2, social distancing, and an increase in cleaning and sanitization throughout the parks.
