September is already here somehow, and you know what that means… It’s time to get ready for spooky season. Things are a little different in terms of celebrating Halloween at Disney this year, especially with Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party being canceled.Â
But, Disney is still celebrating the season with decorations, merchandise, and spooky snacks. Another REALLY different thing is that guests must all wear masks when visiting Disney World. Even before local health officials mandated face masks in both Orange County, Florida, and Anaheim, California, Disney stated that all Cast Members and guests over the age of two would be required to wear a face covering while inside Disney World’s theme parks, hotel common areas, and Disney Springs.
We’ve shared information about what Disney considers to be an acceptable face covering. But, there have been some inconsistencies between guest experiences and Disney’s official policy that could impact what type of face covering you should bring with you to Disney World.
Shanghai Disneyland was the first Disney park to reopen on May 11th followed by Hong Kong Disneyland on June 18th.
And today, Disney’s third international theme park reopened since closing down in February. Let’s see how the first day of Tokyo Disney Resort’s phased reopening went!
Through thorough research, reading article after article, and knowing a thing or two about Disney Parks, we would LIKE to think that we have a crystal ball and can see into the future.
We know, however, that is NOT the case! 🙂 Disney always loves to surprise us and, after all, the only constant at Disney is change! So let’s take a look at the things we were WAY wrong about when it comes to Disney World’s reopening.
