Disney’s Hollywood Studios
We just saw the return of Ariel at her Grotto in Magic Kingdom, and soon Belle will be back at Enchanted Tales with Belle, too. But, over at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, a RARE character has been spotted out and about greeting guests — and we’re taking you with us to check it out!
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party officially kicks off on August 12th, 2022, with parties on certain days from then until October 31st. We can’t WAIT to go to the spooky celebration, which is finally returning after a 2-year hiatus. Some fan-favorite elements are returning with the party, but there will also be NEW things this year.

If you’re visiting the party, you can check out trick-or-treating stations, themed ride overlays on some attractions, the Boo-to-You parade, and the nighttime Not-So-Spooky Spectacular fireworks show! Also returning are the Cadaver Dans (a spooky version of the Dapper Dans), the lady of the manor outside Haunted Mansion, and the Headless Horseman. But what’s going to be NEW in 2022? Halloween has already started in Disney World!
Halloween is HERE!
We’ve been eyeing the festive jack-o’-lanterns and fall-themed wreaths that are lining the streets of Magic Kingdom, and now we’re counting down the days until Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party kicks off! Speaking of this spooky event, Disney just announced that guests will soon be eye-to-eye with a RARE character at this year’s party and we’ve got all the info!
Seeing a Disney character in Disney World is a BELOVED pastime, right up there with eating Mickey Pretzels and riding the PeopleMover!

Make no mistake, there are LOTS of classic characters we NEVER get tired of spotting (and HUGGING!) in Disney World, but we also get excited about spotting a RARE character!
