Memorial Day Weekend is coming and that means summer is officially starting.

With most major holidays, Disney World sees an increase in crowds. And when crowds increase, that can create some problems for guests. We could see an increase in the price of Genie+ (who remembers it being $35 for Spring Break?!). We could see park pass reservations fill up and advance dining reservations get harder to find. But there is one thing that just got easier for the holiday weekend.
Flying is stressful enough, but you can make it a little less stressful by flying nonstop to avoid the hassle of catching a connecting flight (though, for many of us, this isn’t always possible). Luckily, another nonstop flight was just added to Orlando International Airport.

We try to keep an eye on flights into and out of Orlando International Airport to help with your Disney World planning, meaning we’re always looking out for flight deals and discounts, as well as new flights. Well, ANOTHER nonstop flight is now available to and from the Orlando International Airport.
If you’re flying to or from Orlando for the first time (or the first time in a while), the experience can be stressful to say the least.

With airport construction, more arriving and departing flights, and LOTS of people, navigating the airport and your travel experience can be overwhelming if you aren’t prepared. Luckily for you, we travel to Disney World all the time and are in the Orlando International Airport (MCO) probably more often than we’d like to admit.
We’ve been keeping a close eye on the Brightline train — a near-high-speed rail system that will span much of south and central Florida with a stop at the Orlando International Airport.

It could usher in a whole new method of transportation for folks heading to Disney World, and we even got to check out a look inside the new airport station. And now, it looks like we’re one step closer to that station being open!

We’ve seen hurricanes, floods, severe thunderstorms, extreme heat, and even a few cold snaps in the parks. And in general, we’re pretty good about being prepared for all of it! But if you’re traveling to Disney World or Central Florida today, there are some weather-related issues that may delay your plans.

A Magical Flight
After a memorable, but likely exhausting, vacation, it’s time to return to the Orlando International Airport (MCO) to travel back home. And we get it — returning flights just aren’t fun.
Flights can be expensive, confusing, frustrating, and exhausting all at once. From finding a flight to book to navigating the airport to boarding the plane, to FINALLY arriving at your destination and finding your luggage at baggage claim — it’s a big deal that consumes a lot of time and money.
Orlando International Airport
Since the pandemic, flights have grown even more frustrating and expensive for many, with travel mandates, increased ticket prices, and limited airline and airport staff. One of the worst situations to date was Southwest’s cancelation of thousands of flights in December 2022, which they ultimately admitted was due to a lack of staffing and resources that led to unpreparedness in winter weather. But now, another huge problem may be coming soon.
