Who doesn’t love a trip to the movie theater?
We find ourselves heading to the movie theater an awful lot in the winter, because it’s the perfect place to cozy up and enjoy some new films with friends and family. A new movie is debuting in theaters on December 15th, and we can’t WAIT to check it out — not only because we’re stoked to see the movie, but also because there’s a special POPCORN BUCKET!!!
It’s official. Using a streaming service to watch TV has become the new normal.

Things especially changed once streaming companies like Netflix and Hulu began to introduce their own TV shows exclusive to one subscription platform. Now, most streamers offer some kind of original programming, including Disney+. In fact, Disney has released a lot of original content, including new Star Wars and Marvel TV shows. At one point, it felt like we were in the middle of a TV renaissance. Except…things are changing.

Live-Action Ariel Meet-And-Greet
Disney’s live-action The Little Mermaid stole the hearts of theater audiences on May 26th, 2023, and arrived to Disney+ on September 6th, 2023. Since then, Disney fans have FLOCKED to their televisions to see the film — so many, in fact, that the movie has broken a Disney+ record.
Complications in the entertainment industry seem as though they are far from over.
Festival of Fantasy Parade
What started earlier in the year as a writer’s strike quickly turned into a strike order issued by the Screen Actors Guild and the American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (SAG-AFTRA). On Since July 13th, actors have joined in on the strike after the Alliance of Motion Pictures was reportedly unwilling to agree to a union negotiation. Now, things have progressed a bit, and Disney is impacted by this strike in more ways than in just film production.
If you’re heading to Disney World, there are plenty of activities you can check out OUTSIDE of the parks.

There’s golf, mini golf, resort hopping, boat rentals, horseback riding, and so much more that you can explore! But one of the most popular spots that visitors check out is Disney Springs. And if you’re looking for prime entertainment in Disney Springs…there’s one spot that stands above the rest!
