For many guests, character meet and greets are also a priority, and you’ll likely have a list of your must-meet friends. But sometimes, random characters pop up in the parks and surprise us…like what happened today!

Oogie Boogie Bash has officially begun in Disney California Adventure Park, and we’ve been bringing you along with us for ALL of the festivities from the first event night. TONS of character meet-and-greets have returned to Disney World and we’re back to hugging characters and getting autographs, but there are a few characters that are still missing — and sometimes Disney gives you a SECRET way to visit a rare character!

Cinderella Castle
Interested in meeting Peter Pan? You may need to lace up your running shoes in order to catch him or look for him in unexpected places. And he’s not the only unpredictable meet-and-greet there. During one trip to the park, we noticed that a character disappeared from one spot and reappeared in an entirely different place. (Talk about MAGIC.) No, seriously…take a look for yourself.Â

Star Wars Launch Bay
We’ve already been enjoying the fact that we can hug characters again, and we were so excited to see Minnie with Mickey Mouse in Magic Kingdom! Now — speaking of hugs — we’re about to get some fluffy Wookie hugs from Chewbacca because some of the Star Wars Launch Bay meet and greets have returned EARLY!
We’re so excited to welcome back some familiar faces around the resort!

Wanna dine with characters, make s’mores with Chip ‘n’ Dale, or meet the magical duo — Mickey and Minnie? Well, now you can!
