Whenever shopDisney releases something new and popular we see the items FLY off the virtual shelves. Sometimes the items are gone within moments. MerchPass is now live and if you haven’t heard, it’s a new way that Disney is trying to even the playing field for shoppers. It’s also how they hope to reduce technical glitches. Have you been following along with the story of the FuelRod chargers? We’ve got some interesting updates to the saga!
FuelRod Station
Once upon a time, there was a portable charger called FuelRod that charged guests a one-time fee of $30 and promised guests Free Unlimited Swapping when visiting locations like Walt Disney World or Disneyland. FuelRod decided to change the policy and implement a $3 charge every time a guest decided to swap out their charger.
This caused a user to file a Class Action Lawsuit claiming that FuelRod used false advertising given the promise that users could always swap their chargers for free. Disney FuelRod locations temporarily lifted the charge, but now they’re BACK with an entirely different FuelRod policy!
Loungefly is a HUGE fan of creating colorful gear. The bright rainbow Mickey collection added some cheer to our day and the classic Pocohantas Colors of the Wind collection was incredibly beautiful.

Emporium Sales Floor
We were busy running around Walt Disney World during Cast Member re-opening reviews yesterday. We took note of the new mobile order process, discovered what it was like to revisit our favorite characters, and experienced what it is like to shop at Disney World. While scoping out the Emporium, we found a NEW item that is elegant enough to wear to the ball…or at least to the kitchen counter.
