…And, of course, riding Gran Fiesta Tour Starring The Three Caballeros!
Today was the grand reopening of EPCOT! After a week of exploring Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom, we’ve been busy tasting our way around World Showcase for the first time since March. And there is PLENTY to taste, with “A Taste of Food and Wine” officially kicked off!
And when we visit World Showcase, one of our favorite gems to stop at is La Cava del Tequila. So once we knew EPCOT was reopening, we immediately penciled in a trip to the Mexico Pavilion to see how the new health and safety measurements would be implemented.
We’re BACK at EPCOT’S International Food and Wine Festival. We stopped by the Mexico Pavilion and had a downright fiesta trying all the dishes and drinks!
Tacos and margs on the rocks! What could possibly be better than that combo?! Tequila fans will love this booth and everything it’s dishing out. [Read more…]
Pull out the Triple Sec! There’s a new tequila coming to EPCOT and we’re only ordering it on The Rocks.
Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is starring in the newest movie based on a Disney RIDE — The Jungle Cruise. But do you know what’s cooler than the backside of water? The fact that he is making his own line of tequila! [Read more…]
Oh, Disney World restaurants — how we miss you!
While you know our affinity for spots like Wine Bar George (thank goodness the flaming cheese is back) and Garden Grill, there are a few restaurants around the parks we are missing more than we thought we would!
Drinking around the World is one of our favorite pastimes, whether the sips are spiked or non-alcoholic!
We’ve tried pretty much ALL of the frozen drinks in the parks. Although we love grabbing new things (and sharing them with you guys ;-D), we’ve found a few frozen sips over the year that have secured a special place in our hearts.
There’s a LOT to accomplish in a single day at Disney World! Between all the rides to ride, shows to see, and characters to meet, FastPass+ is an excellent way to do it all.
With park crowds being relatively low in the morning, it may be optimal for you to make FastPass+ reservations in the late morning and early afternoon. This gives you the chance to ride some prime attractions in the morning before the lines build up, AND leaves the possibility to score MORE FastPasses later in the day.
But as you’re planning your FastPass selections, you may find that this strategy leaves little time for lunch. And keeping your energy up is critical to check all those boxes off your “to do” list!
With that in mind, we have six lunch suggestions for you to consider. These lunches will get you to your FastPasses on time, while still giving you a delicious meal. We cover all four parks in this list, so let’s jump right in!
If you’ve spent any amount of time strolling around EPCOT’s World Showcase (perhaps while visiting one of the park’s Festivals presented throughout the year), then you likely have fond memories of listening to Mariachi Cobre perform in the Mexico pavilion.
Today, Disney presents the group as part of the #VoicesFromHome series with a special performance — from their homes to yours! — of “Cielito Lindo.” [Read more…]
Happy Cinco de Mayo, DFB amigos!!
While you’re at home making some of abuelita‘s famous tamales and watching Coco to celebrate the holiday, we’re taking you with us on a musical adventure through Epcot’s Gran Fiesta Tour!
It was a messy race to the finish line and many cups of plastic cheese were spilled in the process of elimination during rounds one, two, three, four, and FIVE!
But now that we’ve tabulated your final votes, it’s time to announce the BIG WINNER of our Disney Food Blog Counter Service Throwdown! Drum roll, please!
