There is another fabulous milkshake added to the already impressive milkshake lineup available at Disney’s All Star Movies resort.
Take a look at this appropriately named Scene Stealer Cookie Milkshake.
This Scene Stealer blends the classic taste of Cookie Dough and Ice Cream to create a cool treat with the extra fun of chocolate sprinkles around the top of the cup and chocolate sauce draped around the inside of your souvenir cup. [Read more…]
You know… there are places that just surprise you with new eats time and time again in Disney World. And one of those places is located in Magic Kingdom’s Frontierland.
We were just at Golden Oak Outpost to try the recently added Jalapeño Poppers and Fried Cauliflower to the menu here. And now? We’re already back to check out a couple of brand new milk shakes at this ever-changing spot! But they’re not just your basic chocolate or vanilla. [Read more…]

Thanks in part to a little annual shindig known as The Osborne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights, Hollywood Studios has a reputation for spreading holiday cheer in its own unique way… and that’s right down to the snacks!
This year there are a few newcomers to the mix as well as some old favorites. We were so excited to find these killer new snacks to share with you!
is playing host to a VERY hidden holiday gem… so well hidden, in fact, that you can’t even see it on a sign.
On the menu, you just see the simple mention of “Seasonal Shakes.” I took it upon myself to find out exactly what that means in regards to the Yuletide… and THIS is what I found: the Peppermint Shake!
The name “Peppermint Shake” is actually a bit misleading. The peppermint comes solely from the crushed candy cane on top of the whipped cream. The base, however, is made of Red Velvet ice Cream.
That mild cocoa flavor that Red Velvet is known for is [Read more…]
Disney’s Hollywood Studios is once again hosting Star Wars Weekends from May 18 – June 10, 2012, for fans celebrating the George Lucas films.
If you have young padawans that can’t wait to meet Chewbacca (“let the wookie win”) or a budding Jedi that dreams of a lightsaber battle with Darth Vader, this event is for you!
Adults that grew up with the Star Wars empire are equally excited about this special event with the opportunity to purchase unique merchandise and meet celebrities. I’m looking forward to attending my second Star Wars Weekend this year, and not only will I be posing for a picture with an Ewok, I’m going to snag one of these galatically-good snacks as well!
According to the DisneyParks Blog, there are some fun treats awaiting hungry Star Wars fans! My 12-year old son just told me that he likes “all of them,” but he’s headed for the Darth cupcake first.
A special chocolate cupcake featuring Darth Vader will be available for $4.99 at Darth’s Mall, ABC Commissary, Backlot Express, Studio Catering Co., Pizza Planet, and Starring Rolls Cafe.
This is pretty much the regular chocolate, peanut butter cupcake with a Darth head stuck in it, but we’re not complaining! Also, it’s definitely more ornate than last year’s version! “It is useless to resist” the power of the Darth cupcake!

So, I’m headed to the dentist for some major dental work today while bazillions of Disney fans are living it up in the Magic Kingdom and Disneyland at One More Disney Day, the epic 24-hour theme park Leap Day adventure! 😉 Don’t worry, though, to show what a good sport I am, I’m going to share with you the five things I’d be eating if I was there with them! 😉 Share in our comments section what YOU’D be eating if you were there!
There’s nothing like a Casey’s Corner hot dog, and there’s REALLY nothing like a Casey’s Corner hot dog with plastic cheese!
To appeal to my sweet tooth, I’d head over to the Plaza Restaurant in the Magic Kingdom for one of their out-of-this-world milkshakes!
The Monte Cristos at Cafe Orleans in Disneyland are legendary, and they’re serving a three-cheese french toast version today!! Because I [Read more…]

As you know, I am on a quest. I’d like to dine at every single Disney restaurant and try every single Disney “cult status” fan favorite still available today (sadly, that does not include beaver tails, RIP). I’d been doing a pretty good job at moving forward on my mission, but I had a few secrets I kept hidden — dishes I’d never, ever tried until this year, even though they were serious favorites of Disney guests the world over.
We like to be honest around here, so I’m going to start coming clean by giving you a list of a few Disney desserts I hadn’t really tried until my past few trips — along with what I thought of them. Ready? Here we go!
Yak and Yeti Fried Cream Cheese Won-tons
Once upon a time, a fun new restaurant in Disney’s Animal Kingdom called Yak and Yeti introduced a fun twist on the standard Asian won-ton. By stuffing won-ton skins with sweet cream cheese, frying them up, and pairing them with pineapples and sweet sauce, this is one non-chocolate dessert that will steal your heart and your taste buds.
Lots of folks claim that it’s not sweet enough, but I really enjoyed it. It’s a good, relatively light dessert to share, and the best part is: it suits hot days and cold days — perfect for all temps in WDW.
Le Cellier Smores
Billed as a kids’ dessert, most Disney veterans have at least heard about the smores if they haven’t tried them. Presentation is key here — two gourmet “graham cracker” cookies are coated in [Read more…]
