If you haven’t been to EPCOT in a while, you’ll probably feel lost the next time you visit. That’s because a LOT has changed in this park, and even more changes are on the way!
EPCOT’s massive transformation has so far included a new quick-service restaurant, a space-themed table-service restaurant, a Ratatouille-themed attraction, a Marvel roller coaster, and so much more. It might feel like everything that could change in this park has already done so, but the transformation isn’t quite over yet. Disney just announced an opening timeline for the upcoming Moana-themed attraction! [Read more…]
Things are changing at Disney World, and that’s starting with a few major construction projects happening currently.
We’ve got the TRON coaster construction in progress at Magic Kingdom, and additions being made to the Polynesian Village Resort, as well as new restaurants coming to the BoardWalk and Disney’s Hollywood Studios. But perhaps the biggest undertaking of them all is the transformation of EPCOT, and today we’re taking a closer look at the construction progress over there — and more specifically, the progress on Journey of Water — Inspired by Moana.
For months we have watched the gradual progress being made at the Journey of Water — Inspired by Moana attraction coming to EPCOT, but now we have BIG news!
We’ve already shared a look at the Moana carving coming to the attraction, an updated look at construction in the area, and more. But at Disney’s D23 Expo, a MASSIVE structure coming to the attraction was revealed and we’ve got a first look at it right here for you!
EPCOT is undergoing a HUGE transformation right now, which is pretty obvious if you’ve been to the park in recent years due to all of the construction.
There are new neighborhoods, stores, restaurants, rides, and more that have already opened up, and there’s SO much more to come! One of the new attractions coming is Journey of Water — Inspired by Moana in the World Nature neighborhood. We’ve seen a look at concept art for the attraction and have also kept an eye on construction over the past several months. And now, we have a FIRST LOOK at some of the design details of the attraction!
This week, the Disney Princesses are getting the royal treatment around Disney World in honor of World Princess Week!
The royal celebration takes place from August 21st through August 27th featuring special merchandise, entertainment, announcements, and, our favorite…FOOD! That’s right, guests at Disney World and Disneyland can find tons of Princess-themed treats around the parks and resorts to join in on the festivities. You know we LOVE us a new snack (we are Disney Food Blog, after all!) so we’re heading out to taste the royal offerings for ourselves!
EPCOT is currently in a state of transformation — with several new attractions and spaces in progress!
One upcoming attraction, Journey of Water — Inspired by Moana, has been described as a “lush exploration trail” that will allow visitors to play with “living water” as they walk through rock formations, fountains, and more. If you’re curious about how this might turn out, we just got a closer look at one special detail!
Disney Princesses are getting the spotlight lately — which we have to admit we’re pretty happy about.
We’ve gotten Disney Princess lipsticks, bags, dolls, candles — almost anything you could ever think of. And now, Disney’s released a Princess Dooney & Bourke collection too! But proceed with caution — these bags are dangerous for your wallet.
We’ve all got a favorite Disney World hotel, right? Maybe you love the bougie vibes of Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort, or you might prefer the bright colors and fun artwork at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort. And who doesn’t want to wake up to a giraffe right outside their window, like you can at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge? Whichever hotel you prefer, you’ve got to admit that Disney knows what they’re doing when it comes to themed accommodations.
One of the most popular hotels at Disney World has recently undergone some BIG refurbishments, with updates coming to several different areas of the resort. Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort is in the middle of its transformation, with updates to the rooms, lobby, outdoor areas, and more. So what exactly is going on at this hotel now? And is the construction close to completion? We’ve got an update for you here. [Read more…]
Disney is putting the spotlight on Moana just in time for summer! (How fitting?!)
A couple months ago, Moana got her own nuiMO plush, and more recently, her $130(!!!) doll was added to the Disney Designer Collection (which had us questioning how far we’d go for a Moana doll). And now, Disney World guests will be able to celebrate both Moana and summer with the resort’s new Magic Shots and PhotoPass Lens!
