Whether you love or hate them, live-action films have been a BIG thing for Disney in the last few years.
Disney has recreated popular movies like Mulan, The Lion King, Aladdin, and Beauty and the Beast into live-action versions, and there are even more on the horizon, including live-action films and even sequels. One of these upcoming movies is Pinocchio, and today we got a sneak peek into the film!
The legacy of Walt Disney is built on the foundation of animation and film. While we love the theme parks, they would be an empty shell without the movies to fill them!
Today we are going to go through every, that’s right EVERY, sequel, live-action remake, and reboot Disney is scheduled to make in the foreseeable future. Buckle up it’s going to be a fun one! [Read more…]
If you haven’t noticed, the Jungle Cruise is one of the most popular attractions at Disneyland right now, and for good reason (and no it’s not because of a renewed interest in the back side of water).
First, the attraction recently reopened at Disneyland as a reimagined ride. But there’s also a Jungle Cruise movie you might’ve heard about starring some little-known actors named Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and Emily Blunt.
We’ve already got a movie series inspired by Disney’s Pirates of the Caribbean ride. Later this year we’ll be getting a movie based on the Jungle Cruise attraction, and we’ve shared the news about a new Haunted Mansion movie that’s reportedly in the works.
But, now we’ve got information about a film based on Tower of Terror and the Marvel star who is reportedly set to produce and star in it!
Marvel Studios is on a ROLL recently!
So far this year, we’ve had the release of two new Disney+ series — WandaVision and The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. On top of that, there are tons of movies and shows that have been announced for the future, centered around popular Marvel characters like Spider-Man, Loki, and Black Widow. Now, we’re started to get excited for another film coming soon, because today we got the first look at Eternals!
This past year has been a wild ride for Disney’s movie releases.
We saw Pixar’s Soul get released on Disney+ for free, while others, like Mulan and Raya and the Last Dragon, were put up on Premier Access, meaning that fans had to pay a fee to watch. Today, Disney has shared BIG news when it comes to upcoming films. For example, changes have been made for Black Widow and Luca. Now there’s a BIg update regarding Cruella as well.
A little over a week ago, we shared that Disney and Pixar’s Soul, which was originally scheduled for a theatrical release, will be released directly on Disney+ in December.
But, interestingly, the film will not be released at an additional cost like Mulan was. Why has Disney chosen this free, digital release route for Soul, and what could it mean for future films? We have some thoughts.
Do you go to the movie theater often but don’t want to pay the high prices for a bucket of popcorn? Well, you’re in luck!
AMC Theaters is currently running a special offer on some movie theater classics!
We have loved so much of the original content that Disney+ has released so far from The Mandalorian (aka The Baby Yoda Show) to a production of the Broadway show Hamilton. And now Disney+ has a new original movie coming next month!
The movie is Clouds, and we’re pretty sure this one is going to be a tearjerker!
