With all the shopping options, plus some of the best restaurants in Disney World, there’s a lot to do. You could go bowling, take a ride on a hot air balloon, watch a Cirque du Soleil show, or even go to the movies. And if you’re interested in stopping by the AMC Theatres there, then you should know that they have a NEW feature!
Even though Disney has been celebrating Halloween for a few weeks now (decorations and merchandise went up in the theme parks in mid-August!), we feel a little bit better about going into full spooky mode now that it’s officially September.

With Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, Oogie Boogie Bash, and the rest of Disney’s fall festivities to look forward to — maybe it’s not that somber of a time. However, it’s still fun to finish off the season with a bang! And Marvel just announced a movie re-release that will do just that.Â

But a lot of those announcements were upcoming Disney+ series, some of which will premiere in August 2022! From the premieres of the new Marvel series She-Hulk to the new Star Wars series Andor to the Disney+ premiere of Lightyear, August is going to be on FIRE on Disney+.

We’ve seen countless new Disney and Pixar films, not to mention a BUNCH of Star Wars and Marvel series that were incredibly popular. This week, some more adult content arrived on the family-friendly platform with three R-Rated movies. Deadpool, Deadpool 2, and Logan are now available to stream, but one of the film’s stars had a very unexpected way of announcing their arrival.
It’s almost time, Marvel fans.
Thor: Love and Thunder sign
The next big Marvel movie, Thor: Love and Thunder, is in theaters SOON. We’ve already grabbed the Thor Minnie Ears, grabbed the new Thor: Love and Thunder Happy Meal from McDonald’s, and checked out an EDIBLE Mjolnir (aka Thor’s Hammer). All that’s left is to grab the popcorn. But for select Disney fans, that popcorn could be FREE.

Okay, it IS Buzz Lightyear…
We just got an update on the Zootopia series coming to Disney+, Pixar’s newest movie, Lightyear, was released this week, and Lilo & Stitch is celebrating a huge anniversary that is making us feel old! Disney’s been producing live-action remakes of some of their animated classics for a while now, and their next project just got a director!
If you go into Lightyear expecting it to be the same as the Toy Story films you know and love, you won’t quite find what you’re looking for.

Pixar has released a number of new films over the years. We first got Soul back in 2020, followed by Luca in the summer of 2021. Turning Red came to Disney+ earlier in 2022, but now Pixar is getting its first theatrical movie release since the pandemic — Lightyear!

Thor: Love and Thunder hits theaters on July 8th! We’ve already seen some questionable Thor ears in Disney World, and trailers for the movie, and the movie is almost here! Marvel movies have been crushing it at the box office recently, so make sure you get your Thor tickets fast!
