Over at Disneyland, we’re SO CLOSE to welcoming the addition of Tiana’s Palace Restaurant, which opens to the public on September 6th. Plus, the Mint Julep Bar will return once Tiana’s Palace opens! As if there wasn’t already enough excitement taking place over at New Orleans Square, Disney just shared some exciting news.

Disneyland is getting a brand new restaurant soon, and we are here for it!

Earlier this year, Disney announced that the new Princess and the Frog-themed restaurant would be taking the place of the existing French Market Restaurant in New Orleans Square, opening on September 7th, 2023. Tiana’s Palace is part of a transformation based around the retheming of Splash Mountain into Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, and we have been excited to see how it evolves! Well, today we got some BIG news about this dining location — the full menu has been REVEALED!
The date: July 17, 1955. The man: Walt Disney. The words: “To all who come to this happy place: Welcome.” The occasion: the Opening Day of Disneyland!

Located in the heart of New Orleans Square, this casual table-service eatery boasts architecture and atmosphere inspired by — you guessed it — New Orleans. The menu is filled with Cajun and Creole-inspired dishes, including the Monte Cristo Sandwich, which will forever have a special place in our hearts. Heck, this restaurant in GENERAL has a special place in our hearts! Today, we’re headed back to Cafe Orleans. The best part? We’re taking you with us!

With so much going on in Disneyland, there’s a lot to look forward to! We now have a date on when we can expect the Haunted Mansion holiday overlay to return to the Haunted Mansion ride later this year, and we’re anxiously counting down the opening day to San Fransokyo Square’s opening. Over in Disneyland’s New Orleans Square, a NEW restaurant is taking shape. Tiana’s Palace Restaurant is a new quick-service restaurant coming to Disneyland, and we cannot WAIT to take a peek inside and eat ALL THE FOOD. For now, though, we’re watching construction on the restaurant, and we’re starting to get a good look at what it’s going to look like!
