March 31st was the final day of Disney World’s 50th Anniversary Celebration. With the celebration ending, we’ve seen lots of themed items swapped out over the past few days, including snacks, merchandise, and decorations. But one of the biggest changes is the switch-up of the nighttime shows at both EPCOT and Magic Kingdom.

The show is returning to Hollywood Studios after being gone since the 2020 shutdowns. We’ve been waiting it out, checking on construction, getting updates from Disney, and learning about the new version of the show. We had the opportunity to see the changes to the show at a media event the night before the show officially returned. But now, we’re back for the official GRAND OPENING. Between the return of the Main Street Electrical Parade, Disneyland Forever fireworks, and World of Color, in Disneyland Resort, there’s A LOT to keep guests busy after dark! But, what’s been keeping us busy? Well, all the NEW treats that have arrived for the occasion, of course!

We’ve had Unicorn-themed ice cream, Disneyland’s take on Funfetti cake, a churro that turned our teeth blue, and one of the newest treats even had our team DIVIDED. But, we’re not done yet! There are seriously A TON of treats available to celebrate The Main Street Electrical Parade coming back for the first time since 2019 and today we’re headed over to Red Rose Taverne to see if the newest themed drink can compete with all the other treats!

The Main Street Electrical Parade is back!
Main Street Electrical Parade is back, the nighttime fireworks have returned to Disneyland Park, and World of Color is happening again at Disney California Adventure Park! Another show that is returning soon to Disneyland is Fantasmic! and we now have the showtimes for the nighttime spectacular!

Main Street Electrical Parade
In fact, some of the nighttime entertainment will be returning THIS Friday, April 22nd. One of those offerings is Main Street Electrical Parade, which will return to Disneyland Park. There are many celebrations happening for the return of the parade, including some new merchandise that will be released. We’ve already seen a sneak peek at some of the new parade merchandise coming soon Disneyland, but now, we have a FIRST LOOK at a few of the items in person!

More nighttime entertainment is coming BACK to Disneyland Resort soon! Both Main Street Electrical Parade and the Disneyland Forever fireworks will return to Disneyland Park and World of Color will return to California Adventure Park on April 22nd, 2022.

Speaking of dining, Disney just released a BIG list of food that’s coming soon to Disneyland in honor of all of this returning entertainment. NEWS: No Showtimes Listed For TWO Disney World Nighttime Shows This Weekend
We have to say it: we MISS Fantasmic! Disney World has a LOT of great nighttime entertainment, like Harmonious, Enchantment, and the two firework/projection shows at Disney’s Hollywood Studios (Wonderful World of Animation and Disney Movie Magic), but none of those shows combine live entertainment, fireworks, and music quite like Fantasmic!

While we wait for Fantasmic! to return, Disney has been offering two nighttime shows at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Now, it looks like some upcoming performances of the Wonderful World of Animation and Disney Movie Magic have been canceled!

There are a variety of fireworks shows and nighttime spectaculars to watch in the Disney parks, including Disney Enchantment in Magic Kingdom and Harmonious in EPCOT.
