2022 EPCOT Festival of the Holidays
We’re already starting to get ready for the holiday season in Disney World, too (okay, technically, we started getting ready during the summer). One of our favorite Disney World holiday traditions, though, is the EPCOT Festival of the Holidays, and we now have confirmation of everything that’s coming to this year’s event — and we are SO excited!
Disney dropped a LOT of news today about this year’s Festival of the Holidays in EPCOT.

Now we know all of the booths coming to the Festival, which cookies will be a part of the Cookie Stroll, and more details about Candlelight Processional. With the arrival of the EPCOT’s International Festival of the Holidays, there’s LOTS to see and do at EPCOT right now.

We’ve been eating A LOT of goodies from the Taste of EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays. We think it’s time to slow down, cool off, and digest with some of the festival’s themed entertainment!

Entertainment has been pared back considerably for the holidays this year. Fan-favorite events like the Candlelight Processional have been canceled due to the global health crisis. Disney has shifted some things around to provide a little festive cheer for guests visiting during the holidays. Today, we got a look at EPCOT’s Holiday Character Cavalcades and live performances!

We decided to take a break from tasting our way around all of the food booths to check out a brand new activity that debuted at this year’s festival!
We are just DAYS away from the start of the Taste of EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays, and we could not be more excited to taste ALL the delicious things!

We’ve already seen quite a few of the booths up around the park, as well as a Festival of the Holidays themed guide map, and a Festival sign. But, as we walked around the park today, we also noticed that the first signs of the NEW Olaf scavenger hunt are also starting to make an appearance!
The temperature has started to drop, the fuzzy sweaters are out, and Christmas has started to sweep its way across Disney World!

While the parks will be in a full holiday swing from November 6th through December 30th, entertainment and experiences in the parks and resorts are seeing some MAJOR differences this Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s.
A lot changed after Disney World reopened this summer. We’ve seen several BIG events get canceled, while others, such as EPCOT’s International Food and Wine Festival, have been altered to account for new health and safety guidelines.

We recently learned that EPCOT’s Festival of the Holidays is still very much a GO but, like the Food and Wine Fest, it’s going to be different from previous years. Don’t worry, though — the Holiday Cookie Stroll is still on! Whew! We shared a lot of new information regarding the Festival of the Holidays today, and some of it was pretty unexpected.
