And one of the best ways to stay even closer to the magic is to stay at one of the many Disney World Resort hotels! As a guest of a Disney World hotel, you can take advantage of tons of perks like advance Lighting Lane reservations, a free water park visit on your check-in day, Early Theme Park Entry, and free transportation! Although all of this is so nice, sometimes weird things go down at Disney World hotels.
Well, it’s been another week in Disney World, just basically eating our way around, well, EVERYTHING.

These perks are offered to all guests, regardless of whether they stay at a Value, Moderate, or Deluxe Resort. If you are looking for even more perks, those who stay at a Deluxe Resort can participate in Extended Evening Hours.

Planning your Disney trip includes picking your hotel, deciding what foods to eat, and deciding what rides to prioritize. While you’re planning, you also need to check the construction calendar because there might be some major changes that will impact your Disney stay and we’ve just confirmed a big change!

Rope dropping can be a hassle…but it doesn’t have to be with this tip!

Rope dropping is the process of showing up to a theme park before it opens and then subsequently getting phased deeper and deeper into the park as it gradually becomes available to the public. Rope drop is popular among guests as it usually provides you with the shortest wait times of the day and a leg up on guests who show up later. With that said, it’s more like ripping off a Band-Aid rather than something you’ll love to do. Rope dropping at Disney World requires you to get up EARLY, and it could be even earlier than you think once you start factoring in transportation times. We’ve rope dropped from many different hotels over the years, and if you want to quickly get to rope drop and make the most out of your day, avoid these hotels and opt for their substitutions for a shorter commute.

Saratoga Springs
First of all, it’s difficult to decide where you’d like to stay, as Disney World has over 20 different hotels spanning three tiers (Value, Moderate, and Deluxe). If you decide to stay at Saratoga Springs Resort or Old Key West Resort, you may want to enjoy the walking trails around the resorts. However, we’re here to admit that one of these trails is VERY confusing if you’ve never traveled on it before.
The Christmas trees are up, the halls are decked, Gertie is wearing her Santa hat, and Disney World is in full swing for the holiday season.

It really is the most wonderful time of the year in Disney World, and that’s mostly because we get to try ALL the holiday snacks (seriously, they’re our favorite seasonal snacks).
