Theme parks are getting updated, Disney+ was launched back in 2019, and leadership has switched back and forth a few times. But one of the biggest changes coming for the company is that they’re moving 2000 jobs from California to Central Florida.
Part of having an enjoyable Disney trip is a smooth trip to Orlando. Starting off on the right foot will put you in the vacation mindset before you even step in the parks!

For those who love fast food, there’s way more than just McDonald’s, too. A few new fast food joints have opened in Orlando recently, including Portillo’s and White Castle. Now, though, ANOTHER fast food joint is coming to the area: Jack in the Box!

Not only are they wonderful companions (who may or may not take up all of the couch space!) but they can also serve as special officers who keep us safe. Over at Orlando International Airport, they are welcoming two new four-legged staff members!
The Orlando International Airport (MCO) has received lots of feedback (both positive and negative) on the newly constructed Terminal C — the largest terminal in the Orlando Airport that stretches over half a mile and is filled with state-of-the-art security, delicious dining, and architecture inspired by the sky itself.

According to the Orlando Airport’s website, MCO is already preparing to take Terminal C to new heights. MCO was recently awarded $69 million in federal funds for two Terminal C expansion projects. The Federal Aviation Administration awarded nearly $1 billion to airports across the country for projects that improve the passenger experience. MCO was one of approximately 100 airports in the country to receive funding.

In addition to learning the ins and outs of getting around Disney World during your stay, you need to decide how you will get to your hotel from the airport. Disney World used to have the Magical Express — a bus service that picked you (and your luggage) up at the airport and took you straight to your Disney World Resort — for free! But that service ended in 2021, so if you haven’t been to Disney World since then, know that you’ll need to plan for your own airport transfers. Don’t worry, though! We already know what you’re thinking: Can’t I just Uber? The answer to that is YES! Just like at any other airport, you can use Uber to get a ride from the Orlando Airport to Disney World.
When it comes to buffets, your experience can either be really good, or really bad. Usually, there’s no in between. Whether you can’t get over how amazing the food was, or you can’t get over how bad the stomach ache was, there’s a lot of talk about buffets — especially at Disney!

Disneyland
If you typically visit Disney World for vacation, why not switch things up and head to Disneyland instead?! The same goes for if you’re an avid Disneyland-goer and don’t typically visit Disney World. If this sounds like fun, there’s a new (and easy) way to make that happen!
Sometimes it’s easy to forget that Disney isn’t tucked away from the rest of reality. When you’re eating a DOLE Whip, watching a parade, and riding on the Walt Disney World Railroad, it can feel like the “real world” has just completely disappeared.
