Let’s just say we were very excited when Disney World announced Walt’s Chili as one of its 50th Anniversary Celebration dishes. However, Walt’s Chili didn’t wow us, and we were left wondering if good chili COULD be found at a Disney Park. Well, we just found some GREAT chili, not at Disney World, but Disneyland, proving once again that the West Coast just sometimes does things better (like churros).
When you spend all day at the Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival, you need a SERIOUS pick-me-up. Did someone say coffee time?
Hello from the Pacific Wharf Cafe!
Oh, wait, it’s us! WE said coffee time! But we’re not just going to head to Starbucks and grab a frappuccino. Oh no, we’re going for something a little more special, something that takes Horchata and turns it into a Cold Brew. OH, YES.
We may be in Disneyland Resort, but we’re not here for our normal old churro review or seasonal treat check-in. Instead, we’re back for the Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival! It’s been a busy time around here lately; in Disney World, the Flower & Garden Festival just started, but now it’s time for Disney California Adventure to shine!
Who’s hungry?
We’re back this time to take a look at the Pacific Wharf Cafe! This isn’t technically one of the official Food & Wine Festival booths, but there is a special item on the menu during the festival.
Disney Princesses might have captured our imaginations, but Disney villains have stolen our hearts (in the Evil Queen’s case, that’s quite literally).
It’s good to be bad
These villains make being bad look good, and we just can’t get enough of them. We love seeing them come out for Halloween events and we’re really looking forward to celebrating these wicked characters at Disneyland’s returning After Dark event Villains Night. We’re also looking forward to the villainous snacks we’ll be able to enjoy — and now, we have a full list of ALL of those treats.
Disneyland Resort is known for having some pretty awesome desserts.
Beignets!
They have Mickey beignets, all kinds of churros, fun funnel cakes, and even mini donuts! So, we were excited to hear about a new seasonal dessert over in Disney California Adventure — come check it out with us!
Happy New Year from Disneyland! We’re done enjoying the holidays at the resort (even if many of the decorations are still up) and are ready to embrace 2022!

While we’re embracing the New Year, we’re trying out a few new foods, too, like a peanut buttery cookie pie, a tamale hot dog, and more! And today, we decided to eat something a little healthier — and believe it or not, we’re glad we did!

We’ve been taking you around the park with us all weekend as we try all of the new and returning eats and drinks. So far, we’ve had delicious Shrimp and Grits, tasty sweets at Grandma’s Kitchen, and MORE. But, it’s not just the holiday booths that feature some special dishes for the occasion, select Disneyland restaurants are also participating and we’re bringing you a look at all the offerings — let’s get to it!

Sure, it’s technically holiday season at Disneyland, but many of the holiday snacks are embracing fall, including a Chocolate Cinnamon Sugar-Dusted Churro and Pumpkin Spice Churro Toffee! And we’ve got a returning apple snack that you’ll want to put on your autumn-nosh list.

Just last weekend we were reunited with the ICONIC bread bowls at Disney California Adventure when Pacific Wharf Cafe reopened. Now, to celebrate the return of the cheesy, bready goodness we’re taking a look behind the scenes!
