2024 has been a year full of change at Disney World!

One of the biggest changes happened over the summer when we said goodbye to Genie+ and hello to Lightning Lane Multi Pass and Lightning Lane Single Pass. This new pay-to-skip-the-line service completely changed the way that Lightning Lanes were purchased and booked, and in some way, the new system mimics its predecessor, FastPass+. Many people seem to glance over two other changes that were made with this new system, but they are essential to think about, especially when planning your trip!

BREAKING: Disney Reveals NEW Concept Art for Magic Kingdom’s Nighttime Parade

We’ve been so excited about the new nighttime parade coming to Magic Kingdom ever since it was announced back in August.

This new nighttime parade is called Disney Starlight, and we know it’ll feature the magic of the Blue Fairy from Pinocchio, along with characters from Encanto, Frozen, and Peter Pan. We’ve also known that the parade will be “brought to life by the magic of the Blue Fairy,” but that’s about all we’ve known for a few months. But NOW we’ve got more details you need to know about!

We’ve just finished celebrating all things Halloween and the last Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is now over. The holiday season has just arrived in the parks and the first Jollywood Nights in Hollywood Studios and Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party in Magic Kingdom are coming up SOON. Disney is competing pretty hard with Universal Orlando Resort right now, particularly since Epic Universe is on the way.

The shopping in Magic Kingdom is pretty unmatched.

Well, okay, Disney Springs is the ultimate shopping location in Disney World, BUT The Emporium on Main Street U.S.A. is just so iconic! While we don’t recommend shopping at the beginning of your day, so you don’t have to carry your bags around for the rest of your hours in the park, we didn’t really think there was a bad time to shop. That all changed when one of our reporters ran face-first into the reason you should NEVER go shopping after this in Magic Kingdom.
