Disney recently announced that Genie+ is basically going away to be replaced with Lightning Lane Multi Pass and Lightning Lane Single Pass. However, this is way more than just a name change. We have gotten to experience so many new attractions, like Tron Lightcycle / Run and Tiana’s Bayou Adventure in Magic Kingdom. EPCOT’s multi-year transformation was just completed and brought us rides like Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure and Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind. There is still so much in store as Test Track is currently being re-imagined with inspiration from its predecessor, World of Motion. Magic Kingdom is about to have the Country Bear Jamboree open up once again with a new show! While we have gotten so many new attractions, there is one trend that is really defining 2024 at Disney World.Â

The parks were pretty crowded, Genie+ was getting up there in price (and even sold out recently), and wait times were SUPER high. Well, we’re going to give you an idea of just how busy things truly were: Magic Kingdom officially hit capacity for the day.

As much as we LOVE Disney, we have to expose these “lies” to you. They may not be explicitly lying to you or even mean to say untruthful things, but some things have become insinuated through their actions. So, we’re to clear the air, so to say. There are 6 lies that many of us have started to believe about Disney, and we needed to shed some light on the facts.
Park hopping has officially changed in Disney World and that means we’ve got to get used to a whole new set of rules all over again.

Sure, there might not be restrictions on when you can hop anymore, but that doesn’t necessarily mean the process is easy. In fact, when it comes to using buses to park hop in Disney World, there are some important details you need to know!

Okay, so first, we saw the Disney Dining Plan return (and, yes, it’s a little different now). We also saw all-day park hopping come back to Disney World. We even saw the end of Park Pass Reservations for most Disney World guests, although that doesn’t include Annual Passholders. Well, Passholders, we’ve got a bit of bad news to share about Magic Kingdom today.
