Hello, friends! Are you ready for a WILD dining adventure? (Sorry for the bad pun, but it feels necessary when writing about Animal Kingdom.)
We recently decided to head over to Pizzafari, as they’ve made some slight changes to their “Family-Style Dining.” Not familiar? Don’t fret! We’ll walk you through everything! But essentially, in the evenings Pizzafari offers a special menu as part of an all you care to enjoy option. We enjoyed it when it first rolled out, but with a price increase and new options, would we still feel the same?

IT’S FINALLY PIZZA TIME! I’ve been W.A.I.T.I.N.G. for these to show up at the Magic Kingdom, my friends, and they’re HERE! They’re really HERE!
Let’s GO!
The Get Your Ears On celebration is in full effect in Disneyland Resort, the Grand Californian Hotel and Spa is joining the party with two awesome eats! Our Disneyland correspondent Heather (killin’ it @DiningInDisney!) found a few soft open items yesterday — including this Mickey Shaped(?) Pizza at Hearthstone Lounge!
Cut to us being a little disappointed that the pizza is not, in fact, Mickey shaped. [Read more…]
It’s time to visit the newly refurbished Naples Ristorante in Disneyland Resort’s Downtown Disney. This popular table service restaurant is run by Patina Group, the same folks who run Via Napoli in Walt Disney World. And you know how we feel about that!
Naples Ristorante is lookin’ sharp, y’all! The lovely new floors and bright interior is classic and simple — sort of.
This coming Friday, February 9th, is National Pizza Day. And what better way to celebrate than with a slice at Pizza Ponte — the newest pizza joint in Disney Springs?
Well, I’ll tell you an even better way… how about with a FREE slice of Sicilian pizza at Pizza Ponte?! From 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM on Friday you can grab a square slice of either Four Cheese or Pepperoni Pizza for free with the purchase of a cold beverage! [Read more…]
Pizza by the slice — and more! — is, at long last, available in Disney Springs thanks to the arrival of Pizza Ponte!
As one third of a trio of eateries in Disney Springs, Pizza Ponte provides a fast-casual option for guests hoping to try out the Italian cuisine offered by this new group of restaurants headed by the Patina Restaurant Group. Maria & Enzo’s Ristorante (a table service restaurant) and Enzo’s Hideaway Tunnel Bar will make up the other components of the group when they open in coming weeks.
By the name, you obviously know that the headliner item is PIZZA — more specifically, Sicilian pizza served by the slice. But sandwiches, pastries, and espresso also make up the menu.
But I’ve said the word “pizza” enough by now that I’m sure everyone’s more than ready to dig into a slice, so let’s start our tour now!
Pizza Ponte is the starting point of the greater story of the business ventures of Maria and Enzo. You’ll find the new locations in The Landing, with nearest landmarks being STK Orlando and Paradiso 37 (and, of course, the VERY soon-to-be-open Edison).
In fact, you’ll enter Pizza Ponte under the sign for Maria and Enzo’s Ristorante, under the simple label of “Pizzeria.” [Read more…]

, how do I love thee? Shall we count the ways?
Seriously, I would, but it would take too long. Since this Table Service restaurant opened in Epcot’s Italy Pavilion seven years ago, I’ve been among its biggest fans. I love the decor, with those massive pizza ovens named for Italian volcanoes, the huge open space with arches and chandeliers, and the colorful frescoes on the walls and ceilings.
Oh, and did I mention there’s PIZZA involved, too? Via Napoli easily tops my list for serving up the Best Pizza in Disney World. It’s pretty much become one of those spots I visit whenever I have an excuse to do so.
On my most recent visit, we started with a couple of drinks. And there is no shortage of options at Via Napoli. There are cocktails, signature drinks, and, of course, lots of vino.
is now OPEN for business in Disney’s Hollywood Studios!
This Counter Service eatery served its last pizza pie as Toy Story Pizza Planet in January of this year.
Throughout most of 2016 a HUGE makeover has been taking place, transforming this space that was once filled with visions of Little Green Men and arcade games into an establishment owned-and-operated by none other than Rizzo the Rat of Muppets fame!
Located in what is now known as the Muppets Courtyard section of the park, PizzeRizzo is at long last ready to welcome you and yours to the (literal) party! So join us for our very first visit to The Famous Original PizzeRizzo!!
Over the past several months, we’ve been able to spy plenty of outdoor details of PizzeRizzo as the transformation has taken place. [Read more…]

Mickey’s Toontown is the perfect place to visit when you want to feel like a kid again. It’s easy to believe that you’ve been dropped right into a cartoon as you venture into this land based on Toontown in Who Framed Roger Rabbit. Exploring Mickey’s and Minnie’s houses, and seeing all the cool detail, is one of my favorite things to do here!
And it’s great knowing that Toontown is still alive and kicking in Disneyland, since it went by the wayside to make room for New Fantasyland expansion in Walt Disney World.
But what if you’re looking for a bite to eat in the land of ‘toons? You’re in luck! There ain’t much to eat in Mickey’s Toontown, but what’s there sure is fun!
Among the wonky architecture and interactive attractions in Toontown, you’ll find an assortment of stands for grabbing a bite to eat between rides. And no worries about picky eaters — everything here is sure to please even the littlest members of your crew!
Let’s take a little tour of the counter services spots and see what they have to offer. Fortunately, they’re all nestled close together, similar to a food court — great for a family or group whose members all want something different for lunch!
The first stop on Toontown’s Restaurant Row is Daisy’s Diner. Donald’s girlfriend serves up Pizza in two varieties — Cheese or Pepperoni. Pizzas are individually sized, and are pretty standard Disney pizzas. If you’ve eaten Disney counter service pizza anywhere else, you’ll know what to expect.
You can also get a limited assortment of drinks here — Soda-Pop, Milk, or Juice. The Souvenir Sipper is also available. We’ll see a pic of that in a sec. There are also a few desserts available as well.
The next stop is Pluto’s Dog House. CUUUUUTE! 😉 I have serious love for that hotdog skewered on the fork above the window. Even the road signage out front lets you know what’s happening in this part of town.
It probably won’t surprise you to find out that Pluto serves up Hot Dogs. Get a basket with a side of Apple Slices or Chips.
Pluto’s also features a few Kid’s Meal options, including a Kid’s Hot Dog or Turkey Sandwich, which both come with sides. There’s also a Toddler Meal featuring Macaroni and Cheese. Assorted desserts are available here, too.
In the drink department, Souvenir Sippers are also for sale here, along with the same beverage options that Daisy’s Diner features. However, you can also get Coffee, Hot Tea, and Hot Chocolate at Pluto’s — which are available in a Travel Mug.
Our next stop is Clarabelle’s! Head to the awning with the cute cow spots if you’re looking for something a little fresher for lunch or dinner.
Options include “Moo” Plate Specials (bahahahahahaha!), and you see the word [Read more…]
