If you haven’t been to EPCOT in a while, the park is basically unrecognizable these days.

With much of the middle of the park under construction, as well as new additions like Creations Shop, Connections Eatery, and Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, it definitely doesn’t look the same as it did in say, 2019. But the transformation of EPCOT isn’t complete yet — we’ve still got quite a few projects on the horizon, including the mysterious PLAY! Pavilion.
Toy Story Land is a big part of Disney’s Hollywood Studios — and it’s about to get some BIG changes!

Not long ago, Disney announced plans for a new shop AND a restaurant, but all we know right now is that they should be opening sometime in 2022. Considering that we’re over halfway through 2022 at this time, we’re wondering when Disney will announce official opening dates! We recently got a bit of a clue about one of these Toy Story Land projects, so here’s what we know.
There are a lot of BIG hotel changes happening in Disney World — but it seems there might be another one to come.
The Swan and Dolphin, or “Swolphin” if you will.
We’re following along with construction on the new villas coming to Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort, the entirely new Disney Vacation Club section coming to Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, and the news about changes coming to Disney’s BoardWalk Inn Resort! Now, though, a new permit hints at a coming expansion at the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Hotel!

That’s because the massive EPCOT Transformation is still underway! Part of that transformation sees the center section of Future World turned into World Celebration. We’ve already experienced the new Creations Shop and Club Cool, but what else will this area hold?
There’s always a ton of construction going on at Disney World — the resort is always expanding and changing, which was always part of Walt Disney’s original intent for Disney Parks.

In the past year, though, construction has kicked into full gear — from the massive ongoing EPCOT overhaul to the TRON ride construction in Magic Kingdom to all the work being done at the Fantasmic! theater, we only expect to see even construction in the future. And now, a new permit suggests that a shop at Disney World might be getting an upgrade.
We have gotten a LOT of updates about Disney World’s 50th Anniversary.
Train Station
Not only will Magic Kingdom be getting a new Character Cavalcade and new golden statues, but it will also be getting a brand new FIREWORKS SHOW. Today, we might have spotted another hint at what’s coming. Could the Magic Kingdom train station be getting a special look of its own?
You’ve probably heard that Disney World will be getting its very own IMMERSIVE Star Wars Hotel!

We’ve slowly but surely been learning tidbits about Disney World’s Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser. The delayed opening was recently announced, the hotel will feature a new kind of lightsaber, and there will be a pretty cool featured dining experience onboard. Now, we know a little more about the current behind-the-scenes progress on the upcoming offering!
