How the New Maskless Photo Policy Works in Disney World
Disney World has changed their face mask policy a few times over the last few months.
Recently, Disney announced a BIG change in its mask policy when it comes to photos. Previously, guests had to keep on their masks at all times (except when actively eating and drinking while stationary and physically distanced from others) — and that meant that masks had to be kept on while taking photos. Disney just made a change to that policy when it comes to outdoor photos and today we got to experience it in action.

The NEW Disney MagicMobile service debuted in Disney World today. That means you can now use your Apple Smartphone or watch to scan into the parks in lieu of a MagicBand. Like the other ticket media, this service can be used for other park offerings as well — including Disney PhotoPass!

A NEW On-Ride Photo Feature Is Being Tested in Disney World!
One of the coolest features of Disney World’s PhotoPass is being able to see your on-ride photos.
Whether you’re screaming on Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster, or screaming on Tower of Terror, or maybe you’re screaming on Expedition Everest — Disney’s there to capture it all. These photos are great souvenirs to bring home to always remember some of your favorite rides from Disney World. Now, Disney is testing a new feature that will make it even easier to keep track of your photos.
REMINDER: Disney World’s Memory Maker Deal Ends Soon!
If you’re going on a Disney World vacation, you may plan on taking a TON of photos.
And you can get them with a bit of help, thanks to Disney’s PhotoPass service, which gives you access to Disney World’s photographers who do lots of the photography work for you! And they can even sprinkle a little extra magic on your photos with special Magic Shots, super zoom shots, AND cute videos. Currently, there’s Memory Maker, which allows guests to download unlimited PhotoPass photos and videos through the My Disney Experience app or Disney World website.
